2.1. Desembalatge i inspecció

Carefully remove the Aimpoint Micro H-2 from its packaging. Verify that all included components are present:

• Aimpoint Micro H-2 Sight
• Micro Standard Mount
• Flip-up Lens Covers
• Bateria CR2032
• Micro Tool

Inspect the sight for any visible damage. If any components are missing or damaged, contact Aimpoint customer support.

2.2. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Locate the battery compartment cap on the side of the sight.
2. Use the included micro tool or a coin to unscrew the battery cap counter-clockwise.
3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards (towards the cap).
4. Carefully screw the battery cap back on clockwise until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

2.3. Mounting the Sight

The Micro H-2 comes with a Micro Standard Mount designed for dovetail rails. Ensure your firearm has a compatible rail system.

1. Loosen the mounting screw on the Micro Standard Mount.
2. Place the sight and mount assembly onto the dovetail rail of your firearm, sliding it into position.
3. Ensure the sight is positioned correctly for your preferred eye relief.
4. Tighten the mounting screw securely using the micro tool. Refer to your firearm's manual for specific torque recommendations if available.

Nota: For optimal performance, ensure the sight is mounted firmly and does not wobble.

3. Instruccions de funcionament

The Aimpoint Micro H-2 features a rotary switch for power control and brightness adjustment.

1. To turn the sight ON, rotate the intensity knob clockwise from the "0" position.
2. Continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase the brightness of the red dot. There are 12 intensity settings.
3. To turn the sight OFF, rotate the intensity knob counter-clockwise back to the "0" position.

Consell: Select a brightness setting that allows the dot to be clearly visible without blooming or appearing too dim for the ambient light conditions.

3.2. Zeroing the Sight

Zeroing the sight ensures that the point of impact matches the point of aim at a specific distance.

1. Secure your firearm in a stable shooting rest.
2. Set up a target at your desired zeroing distance (e.g., 25 yards, 50 yards).
3. Fire a group of shots (e.g., 3-5 shots) at the target.
4. Observe the point of impact relative to your aiming point.
5. Adjust the windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) turrets using the micro tool.
   • Ajust d'elevació: Rotate the top turret. Turning clockwise moves the point of impact DOWN. Turning counter-clockwise moves the point of impact UP.
   • Ajust del vent: Rotate the side turret. Turning clockwise moves the point of impact RIGHT. Turning counter-clockwise moves the point of impact LEFT.
6. Each click of the adjustment turrets corresponds to a specific change in point of impact (e.g., 1/2 MOA per click).
7. Repeat the firing and adjustment process until your shots consistently hit the desired aiming point.

Important: Always follow safe firearm handling practices during zeroing.

4. Manteniment i cura

4.1. Neteja de les lents

To maintain optimal optical clarity, keep the lenses clean. Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a lens pen designed for optics.

• Gently brush away any loose dust or debris.
• If necessary, use a small amount of lens cleaning solution applied to the cloth (not directly to the lens).
• Wipe the lenses in a circular motion from the center outwards.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the lens coatings.

4.2. Neteja general

Wipe the exterior of the sight with a damp cloth to remove dirt or grime. Ensure the battery cap and adjustment turrets are securely closed to prevent water ingress if cleaning with moisture.

4.3. Substitució de la bateria

When the red dot appears dim even on the highest setting, or if it fails to illuminate, it's time to replace the CR2032 battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 2.2.

4.4. Emmagatzematge

When not in use, store the Aimpoint Micro H-2 in a dry, cool place. It is recommended to turn the sight off (setting "0") to conserve battery life, although its battery life is exceptionally long.
