Muntatge i preparació

Follow these steps to prepare your Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device with a new lancet drum:

1. Traieu la tapa: Hold the lancing device firmly and pull off the cap.
2. Insert Lancet Drum: Insert a new lancet drum, white end first, into the lancing device. Push it in until it clicks into place. Do not force it.

4. Set Penetration Depth: Rotate the cap to select your desired penetration depth. Start with a shallower depth (e.g., 2 or 3) and adjust as needed for sufficient blood sample.

Nota: The lancet drum is designed to be used only once. Once inserted, it cannot be removed and reused. The device automatically advances to a new lancet after each use.

1. Prime the Device: Press the priming button (usually located on the side or end of the device) until it clicks. This action primes the device and advances a new lancet.

• Emmagatzematge: Store lancet drums in their original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Eliminació: Used lancet drums contain sharp, contaminated lancets. Dispose of them safely in a puncture-resistant sharps container immediately after all 6 lancets have been used. Do not dispose of used lancets or drums in household trash. Follow local regulations for sharps disposal.
• Neteja: The lancets themselves do not require cleaning as they are single-use. Refer to your Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device manual for cleaning instructions for the device.

Resolució de problemes

• No Blood SampLI: If you do not get enough blood, try increasing the penetration depth setting on your lancing device. Ensure the device is held firmly against the skin.
• Lancet Drum Not Inserting: Ensure the drum is oriented correctly (white end first) and pushed in until it clicks. Do not force it. If it still doesn't insert, check for any obstructions or damage to the drum or device.
• Device Not Priming/Firing: Ensure the cap is securely attached. If the device has been used 6 times, the drum is empty and needs to be replaced. If a new drum is inserted and the device still doesn't prime, refer to your Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device manual.
