4. Configuració i instal·lació
This section guides you through the process of installing your computer components into the Define Mini C case.
4.1. Preparació del cas
- Col·loqueu la caixa sobre una superfície plana i estable.
- Remove the side panels by unscrewing the captive thumbscrews at the rear and sliding the panels backward.
- Familiarize yourself with the interior layout, including the motherboard tray, PSU shroud, and drive bays.

4.2. Instal·lació de la font d'alimentació (PSU)
- Mount your PSU to the bracket at the rear of the case, ensuring the fan faces downwards (if the case is on feet) or upwards (if preferred for internal airflow).
- Slide the PSU into the dedicated compartment under the shroud from the rear.
- Secure the PSU with screws from the outside.

4.4. Instal·lació de la unitat
The Define Mini C supports various drive configurations:
- Unitats de 3.5"/2.5": Two universal drive trays are located under the PSU shroud. Pull out the trays, mount your drives, and slide them back in.
- SSD de 2.5 polzades: Three dedicated 2.5" SSD mounts are located behind the motherboard tray. Secure SSDs to these mounts with screws.

Connect the front panel cables (USB 3.0, audio, power switch, reset switch, HDD LED) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for exact pinouts.

5. Funcionament de la caixa
Once all components are installed and secured, replace the side panels. The Define Mini C is designed for optimal airflow and quiet operation. Ensure proper fan orientation for intake and exhaust to maintain low temperatures.
The ModuVent technology on the top panel allows you to choose between a solid, sound-dampened panel for maximum silence or a ventilated panel for enhanced airflow, depending on your cooling needs.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Define Mini C case.

The Define Mini C features easily removable dust filters at the front and bottom. It is recommended to clean these filters every 1-3 months, or more frequently in dusty environments, to maintain optimal airflow and prevent dust buildup inside the case.
- Filtre frontal: Gently pull the front panel from the bottom to detach it, then remove the filter for cleaning.
- Filtre inferior: Slide out the filter from the front of the case.
- Clean filters using compressed air or by rinsing with water (ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation).
