Configuració inicial

1. Desempaquetar components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging: the outer container, elevated colander, lid, and carbon filter packet.
2. Insert Carbon Filter: Locate the designated compartment on the underside of the lid. Open the small cover, insert the carbon filter packet, and securely close the cover. The filter is designed to last approximately 90 days.
3. Muntar: Place the elevated colander inside the outer container. The system is now ready for use.

Preparing Produce

1. Wash Produce: Thoroughly wash your fruits and vegetables under cool running water.
2. Dry Produce: Gently dry the produce to remove excess surface moisture. While the colander helps with drainage, starting with relatively dry produce is beneficial.
3. Place in Colander: Arrange the prepared produce within the elevated colander. Ensure not to overfill, allowing for adequate air circulation.

Ventilation Guide

The lid features an adjustable vent to optimize humidity levels for different types of produce. Refer to the guide printed on the underside of the lid to determine the correct vent setting (open or closed) for your specific fruits or vegetables.

• Open Vent: Recommended for produce that thrives in lower humidity, such as fruits (apples, berries, grapes) and some vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes).
• Closed Vent: Ideal for produce that requires higher humidity to stay fresh, typically leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, kale) and certain vegetables (broccoli, asparagus).

All components of the OXO GreenSaver Produce Keeper are dishwasher safe. For best results, place the outer container, colander, and lid on the top rack of your dishwasher. Ensure the carbon filter is removed from the lid before washing.

Substitució del filtre

The enhanced carbon filter is effective for approximately 90 days (3 months). For continuous optimal performance, replace the filter every three months. Replacement filters are sold separately.
