Introducció

Configuració

1. Instal·lació de maquinari

The EAP245 V1 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE+) for flexible deployment. It can be powered by an 802.3at-compliant PoE+ switch (36-57V 0.4A) or the included 12VDC/1.5A power supply.

2. Software Setup (Omada Controller)

The TP-Link EAP245 V1 is managed using the free Omada Controller software. This software allows for centralized management of multiple EAPs.

1. Accessing the Omada Controller

After initial setup, you can access the Omada Controller via a web browser using the administrator credentials created during setup. The controller provides a dashboard to monitor and manage your EAPs.

The EAP245 V1 supports seamless roaming, which requires both the access point and client devices to support 802.11K and 802.11V protocols. This feature ensures smooth transitions between access points without interruption as users move across the network coverage area.

Manteniment

  • Verify that the EAP is powered on and properly connected to the network.
