This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Ewent EW7056 3.5" USB 3.0 External HDD Enclosure. This device allows you to easily connect a 3.5-inch SATA Hard Disk Drive (HDD) or Solid State Drive (SSD) to your computer via a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connection.
The EW7056 is designed for ease of use with its screwless installation and broad compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

3. Configuració i instal·lació
3.1 Installing the Hard Drive
The EW7056 features a screwless design for quick and easy hard drive installation.
- Obriu el recinte: Obriu suaument la tapa de la carcassa.
- Connect the Hard Drive: Align your 3.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD with the SATA connector inside the enclosure. Carefully push the drive firmly into the connector until it is securely seated.
- Tanca el recinte: Slide the cover back onto the enclosure until it clicks into place.

3.2 Connexió a l'ordinador
- Connectar l'alimentació: Plug the supplied power adapter into the power input port on the back of the EW7056 enclosure. Then, plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Connectar USB: Connect one end of the USB 3.0 cable to the USB 3.0 port on the EW7056 enclosure and the other end to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer.
- Encès: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the back of the enclosure to the 'ON' position. The LED activity indicator on the enclosure will illuminate.

4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 Drive Recognition
Once connected and powered on, your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) should automatically detect the new external drive. If the drive is new or unformatted, you may need to initialize and format it through your operating system's disk management utility before it appears in 'My Computer' or 'Finder'.
4.2 Transferència de dades
The EW7056 supports SuperSpeed USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen1) with data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. For optimal performance, ensure you connect the enclosure to a USB 3.0 compatible port on your computer. Data transfer is as simple as dragging and dropping files to and from the recognized drive.
4.3 Eliminació segura
Always safely eject the external drive before disconnecting it from your computer or powering it off to prevent data corruption. On Windows, use the "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" icon in the system tray. On macOS, drag the drive icon to the Trash or use the Eject button in Finder.

6. Solució De Problemes
6.1 Unitat no detectada
- Comproveu les connexions: Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the enclosure and a working wall outlet. Verify the USB cable is firmly connected to both the enclosure and a functional USB port on your computer.
- Encès: Confirm the ON/OFF switch on the enclosure is in the 'ON' position.
- Proveu un altre port USB: Connect the enclosure to a different USB port on your computer, preferably a USB 3.0 port.
- Check Drive Status: If the drive is new, it may need to be initialized and formatted. Access Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS) to check if the drive is recognized but unallocated.
- Test with Another Drive/Computer: If possible, test the enclosure with a different hard drive or connect the enclosure to another computer to isolate the issue.
