1. Introducció

The Kawai ES110 is an 88-key digital piano designed to provide an authentic playing experience with its Responsive Hammer Compact Action. It features a built-in stereo speaker system, Bluetooth MIDI connectivity, 192-note polyphony, and versatile dual split modes, making it suitable for various musical applications.

2. Configuració

2.1 Desembalatge i identificació de components

2.2 Connexió de l'adaptador de corrent

  2. Connect the DC plug of the power adapter to the DC 12V jack on the rear panel of the piano.
  3. Plug the AC plug of the power adapter into a suitable AC outlet.

2.3 Attaching the Music Rest

Insert the two prongs of the music rest into the corresponding slots on the top panel of the piano, ensuring it is securely seated.

2.4 Connexió del pedal de sustain

Connect the included F-10H sustain pedal to the SUSTAIN jack on the rear panel of the piano.

Place the digital piano on a stable, flat surface or a dedicated keyboard stand to prevent wobbling or accidental falls.

3. Funcionament bàsic

3.1 Encès/Apagat

Premeu el botó PODER button located on the left side of the control panel to turn the instrument ON. The power indicator light will illuminate. Press it again to turn the instrument OFF.

3.2 Control de volum

Utilitza el MÀSTER VOLUM slider on the control panel to adjust the overall output volume. Slide it towards MIN for lower volume and towards MAX for higher volume.

The ES110 offers 19 different instrument sounds. To select a sound:

To activate the metronome, press the METRONOM button. Press it again to stop. While the metronome is active, you can adjust the tempo by holding the FUNCIÓ button and pressing the keys labeled with tempo adjustments.

3.5 Transposar

The transpose function allows you to shift the pitch of the entire keyboard up or down in semitone steps. To use, hold the FUNCIÓ button and press the keys labeled for transpose adjustments.

4.1 Dual Mode (Layering Sounds)

Dual Mode allows you to layer two different sounds simultaneously. For example, you can play a piano sound with strings layered on top. To activate:

  • Select your primary sound.

The ES110 supports Bluetooth MIDI, allowing wireless connection to smart devices and compatible music apps. Refer to your device's Bluetooth settings and the app's instructions for pairing.

Two headphone jacks are located on the front left side of the piano, allowing for private practice or duet listening. Plugging in headphones will mute the internal speakers.

Wipe the instrument's surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a cloth lightly dampened with water and a mild detergent, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes.

Clean the keys with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners, as they may damage the key surfaces. Avoid excessive force when playing to prolong the life of the Responsive Hammer Compact Action.

Store the piano in a location free from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, high humidity, or excessive dust. If transporting, use appropriate protective covers or cases.

7. Solució De Problemes

  • Check if the power adapter is securely connected and the piano is turned ON.
  • Ensure the MASTER VOLUME slider is not set to minimum.
  • If headphones are connected, disconnect them to enable internal speakers.
  • If connected to external speakers, verify their power and volume settings.
