The Anderic FAN-9T remote control is compatible with Hampton Bay ceiling fans. To ensure compatibility, verify that your original remote control has "FAN-9T" printed on its back. This remote features FCC ID: L3HFAN9T and PN: FAN9TR.
Nota important: This remote control provides on/off functionality for lights and does not support dimming. If your original remote for a Windward II 54-inch Ceiling Fan has a model number starting with "CHQ" (located on the back), you may require the RR7096TR model with a yellow light button, even if your original has a green light button.

- Remove the battery cover located on the back of the remote control. Press firmly below the arrow and slide the cover off.

2. Setting the Code (DIP Switches)
The remote control and your ceiling fan receiver must be set to the same code for proper communication. This unit has 16 different code combinations. Ensure your fan is operated in "HIGH SPEED" and the light is in "ON" condition at the switch knob before proceeding.

- With the battery cover removed, locate the DIP switches inside the battery compartment.
- Slide the code switches to your desired up or down position. (Factory setting is all up. Do not use this position unless it matches your receiver.) Use a small screwdriver or a ballpoint pen to firmly slide the switches.
- Replace the battery cover on the transmitter (remote).
