Introducció
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Midland XT30 Twin PMR446 Two-Way Radio. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.

Configuració
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
- Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la ràdio.

- Insert 3 AAA rechargeable batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and slide it upwards until it clicks into place.
2. Càrrega de les bateries
The XT30 radios are supplied with rechargeable batteries and a USB charging cable.
- Connect the micro USB end of the charging cable to the charging port on the side of the radio.
- Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

- A full charge typically takes several hours. Disconnect the radio once charging is complete.

1. Encendre/apagar
- Per encendre, premeu i manteniu premut MENÚ/POWER botó fins que la pantalla s'il·lumini.

2. Ajust de volum
Utilitza el UP i ABAIX botons de fletxa per ajustar el volum d'escolta.
3. Selecció de canals

- Utilitza el UP i ABAIX arrow buttons to select one of the 16 available channels (8+8 pre-programmed).
- Premeu el botó MENÚ button again or wait a few seconds to confirm your selection.
4. Transmissió i recepció

- Ensure you are on the same channel and CTCSS tone as the other party to communicate.
5. CTCSS Tones (Sub-channels)
The XT30 supports 38 CTCSS tones to filter out unwanted conversations on a channel.
- Premeu el botó MENÚ button twice. The CTCSS tone number will flash.
- Utilitza el UP i ABAIX arrow buttons to select a tone (0-38). Tone 0 means no CTCSS is active.
- Premeu el botó MENÚ de nou el botó o espereu uns segons per confirmar.
6. Funció de trucada
Premeu el botó TRUCA button to send an audible call alert to other radios on the same channel and CTCSS tone.
7. Funció d'escaneig
The scan function allows you to monitor all channels for activity.
- Premeu el botó MON / SCAN button once to activate the scan function. The radio will cycle through channels.
- When activity is detected, the scan will pause on that channel.

8. Funció de monitorització
Manteniu premut el botó MON / SCAN button to temporarily disable the squelch and listen to all activity on the current channel, including weak signals.
Manteniment

- Do not attempt to open or modify the radio. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.
