1. Introducció

The ThermoPro TP60 Remote Sensor is designed to work with compatible ThermoPro base stations (such as TP60S, TP63A, and TP65) to provide accurate remote temperature and humidity readings. This sensor is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, allowing you to monitor environmental conditions in various locations.

4. Configuració i instal·lació

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote sensor.
2. Slide down the battery cover to open it.

4.2 Selecció de canals

The remote sensor features a channel switch (1, 2, 3) inside the battery compartment. If you are using multiple remote sensors, set each sensor to a different channel (e.g., Sensor 1 to CH1, Sensor 2 to CH2, Sensor 3 to CH3) to avoid interference and allow individual monitoring on your base station.

4.3 Synchronization with Base Station

To ensure proper communication, synchronize the remote sensor with your ThermoPro base station:

1. Position the remote sensor near the base station (within a few feet).
2. Ensure batteries are installed in both the remote sensor and the base station.
3. On the base station, the RF signal icon (usually located at the top left of the screen) should flash, indicating it is searching for a signal.
4. Wait a moment for the sensor to connect automatically, or press the TX button on the remote sensor to manually send a signal.
5. The temperature and humidity readings from the remote sensor should then appear on the base station display.

5. Funcionament

Once synchronized, the remote sensor will continuously transmit temperature and humidity data to your base station. The base station will display these readings, often cycling through multiple channels if more than one sensor is connected. Refer to your base station's manual for specific display and channel selection instructions.

Optimal placement of the remote sensor is crucial for accurate readings and reliable transmission:

• Llum solar directa: The remote sensor should NOT be placed in direct sunlight. Sunlight will heat the sensor, leading to higher temperature readings than the actual ambient air temperature.
• Orientació: Always place the remote sensor facing upwards. This prevents rain or moisture from entering the ventilation holes at the bottom of the sensor, ensuring accurate and faster detection of environmental temperature and humidity.
• Interferència: Avoid placing the sensor near sources of electromagnetic interference, such as large metal objects, electronic devices, or thick walls, which can reduce the transmission range.
• Interval de temperatura: The sensor is designed for outdoor use, with a minimum operating temperature of -4°F (-20°C).

7. Manteniment

• Substitució de la bateria: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on your base station. Always use fresh AAA batteries.

8. Solució De Problemes

If you experience issues with your ThermoPro TP60 Remote Sensor, consider the following:

• No Readings or Intermittent Signal:
  • Ensure the remote sensor is within the 200-foot transmission range of the base station.
  • Check battery levels in both the sensor and base station. Replace if low.
  • Verify that the remote sensor's channel switch matches the selected channel on the base station.
  • Resynchronization: Try removing batteries from both the base station and the remote sensor. Reinsert batteries into the remote sensor (ensuring correct channel), then reinsert batteries into the base station. Press the CH/SYNC button on the base station to initiate a new synchronization. Keep the sensor close to the base station during this process.
  • Relocate the sensor or base station to minimize interference from other electronic devices or large metal objects.
