1. Introducció

Welcome to your new Imperial DABMAN i150 Internet/Digital Radio. This compact hybrid radio offers a versatile listening experience, combining Internet radio, DAB+, and FM reception with modern connectivity options. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance of your device.

4.1 Tauler frontal

The front panel features a clear 2.8-inch color TFT display for easy navigation and information display. To the right of the speaker, you will find the main controls including the power button, menu and mode buttons, navigation arrows, five preset buttons, and a multi-function rotary knob for volume adjustment and selection.

The rear panel provides various connectivity options: DC IN for power, a USB 2.0 port for media playback, a LAN (Ethernet) port for wired network connection, AUX IN (3.5mm jack) for external audio sources, LINE OUT for connecting to external amplifiers or speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The screw-on antenna connection is also located here.

The included infrared remote control allows for convenient operation of all radio functions from a distance. It includes dedicated buttons for power, alarm, sleep timer, WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), menu navigation, mode selection, volume control, equalizer settings, and direct access to preset stations.

5. Configuració

5.1 Connexió de potència

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the DABMAN i150.

5.2 Connexió de l'antena

For optimal DAB+ and FM reception, screw the provided rod antenna firmly into the antenna connector on the rear panel. Extend the antenna fully for best signal quality.

5.3 Network Connection (Wi-Fi / Ethernet)

A network connection is required for Internet radio and UPnP/DLNA streaming.

Connexió Wi-Fi:

1. Upon first power-on, the unit will guide you through a setup wizard. Select "Wi-Fi Network" when prompted.

3. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and navigation buttons/rotary knob.

Connexió Ethernet:

1. Connect a standard Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the rear of the DABMAN i150.
2. The radio will automatically detect the wired connection and configure itself.

6. Funcionament de la ràdio

Premeu el botó Mode button to switch between different operating modes.

6.1 Ràdio per Internet

• Seleccioneu el mode "Ràdio per Internet".
• Browse stations by location, genre, or search for specific stations.
• Use the navigation buttons and rotary knob to select and confirm.
• To save a station as a favorite, press and hold one of the preset buttons (1-5) or use the FAV+ button on the remote.

Ràdio DAB+ 6.2

• Select "DAB+ Radio" mode.
• The radio will automatically scan for available DAB+ stations on first use. You can initiate a full scan from the menu.
• Use the navigation buttons to scroll through the list of available stations.
• Press the rotary knob or Enter button to select a station.

6.3 Ràdio FM

• Select "FM Radio" mode.
• Use the navigation buttons to manually tune the frequency or press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.
• Save favorite FM stations using the preset buttons.

• Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the rear panel.
• Select "USB" mode.
• Browse and play audio files (e.g., MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC) stored on the USB drive.

6.5 UPnP/DLNA Streaming

• Ensure your radio and media server (e.g., PC, NAS) are connected to the same network.
• Select "UPnP/DLNA" mode.
• The radio will detect available media servers. Select your server and browse for audio content.

6.6 Entrada AUX

• Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable.
• Select "AUX" mode to play audio from the connected device through the radio's speaker.

6.7 Sortida d'auriculars

• Connect headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack on the rear panel.
• The internal speaker will be muted, and audio will be routed to the headphones.

7. Configuració i característiques

7.1 Equalitzador

Access the Equalizer settings via the menu or the EQ button on the remote control to adjust audio profiles (e.g., Normal, Flat, Jazz, Rock, Classical, Pop, My EQ) to your preference.

Set up to two independent alarms with customizable wake-up sources (buzzer, Internet radio, DAB+, FM) and volume levels. Access via the menu or the Alarm button on the remote.

The sleep timer allows you to set a duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes) after which the radio will automatically switch to standby. Access via the menu or the Sleep button on the remote.
