Instal·lació de la bateria
The Surface Pen requires one AAAA battery (included). To install or replace the battery:
- Gently pull the top cap of the pen to remove it.
- Insert the AAAA battery with the positive (+) end facing inwards.
- Replace the top cap, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
Pairing with Your Surface Device
The Surface Pen connects to your device via Bluetooth 4.0. Follow these steps to pair your pen:
- Ensure your Surface device's Bluetooth is turned on.
- On your Surface Pen, press and hold the top button for 5-7 seconds until the LED light flashes, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your Surface device, go to Configuració > Dispositius > Bluetooth i altres dispositius.

Operating the Surface Pen

The pen features 4,096 pressure points, allowing for precise sketching, shading, and painting with finer control. The ink flows in real-time with virtually no lag, providing a natural writing sensation similar to pen on paper.

Eraser Functionality
The opposite end of the pen functions as a rubber eraser. Simply flip the pen and use the top end to erase digital ink on your screen, just like a traditional pencil eraser.

The top button on the pen can be customized to perform various actions, such as launching OneNote, taking screenshots, or opening other applications. You can configure these settings in your Surface device's Pen & Windows Ink settings.

Manteniment
Canvi de bateria
As noted in the Setup section, the Surface Pen uses a single AAAA battery. When the pen's functionality diminishes or it stops responding, it's likely time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined previously.

- Gently pull the existing tip straight out from the pen.
