1. Col·locació
Place the humidifier on a firm, level, water-resistant surface. Ensure it is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls, furniture, and bedding to allow for proper mist dispersion and prevent moisture damage.

2. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua
The HEV615WC offers two convenient ways to fill the water tank:
- At the Humidifier: Pour cool tap water directly into the wide top opening of the water tank while it is on the base.
- At the Sink: Use the recessed tank handle to lift the water tank from the base and carry it to a sink. Fill with cool tap water, then place it back securely on the base.

3. Funcionament inicial
After filling the tank, ensure the humidifier is plugged into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

1. Encendre/apagar
Press the power button on the control panel to turn the humidifier on or off.
2. Moisture Output Settings
The HEV615WC features 3 moisture output settings. Use the control buttons to select your desired moisture level. Higher settings will release more moisture into the air.
3. Auto Shut-off Feature
The humidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that activates when the water tank is empty, ensuring safety and preventing damage to the unit.

Maintain indoor humidity levels between 40-60% for optimal comfort and health. An external hygrometer can help monitor your room's humidity.

Cura i Manteniment
Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
1. Weekly Cleaning (Descaling and Disinfecting)
Descalcificació:
- Empty the water tank and base reservoir.
- Pour 2 cups (0.5 liters) of undiluted white vinegar into the water tank.
- Swish the vinegar solution gently inside the tank to wet all surfaces.
- Place the tank back on the base and let it soak for 20 minutes to allow the vinegar to drain into the reservoir and loosen mineral buildup.
- After soaking, empty the vinegar from both the tank and reservoir.
- Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the inside of the base and nebulizer (if applicable).
- Rinse the tank and reservoir with fresh water until the smell of vinegar is gone.
Desinfecció:
- Mix 1 gallon (3.8 liters) of water with 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of bleach.
- Pour the bleach solution into the water tank.
- Swish the solution gently inside the tank to wet all surfaces.
- Place the tank back on the base and let it soak for 20 minutes.
- Empty the bleach solution from the tank and reservoir.
- Rinse thoroughly with fresh water until the smell of bleach is gone.

2. Substitució del filtre
For best performance, replace your wicking filter (Honeywell Replacement Filters "T", model HFT600PFC) every 1-2 months, or more frequently depending on water hardness and usage.
