1. Introducció

• Balanced Line Output (R, L): Two 1/4-inch TRS jacks for connecting to external audio systems, mixers, or audio interfaces.

• Pitch Bend Strip: Touch-sensitive strip for real-time pitch manipulation.

5. Configuració

5.1. Connexió a un ordinador (USB)

1. Locate the included USB cable.
2. Connect the square (Type B) end of the USB cable to the USB port on the rear panel of the X8 Pro.
3. Connect the flat (Type A) end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
4. The X8 Pro is USB plug-and-play and does not require additional drivers for most operating systems (Windows 7/10, Mac OS X). Your computer should automatically recognize the device.
5. The unit will power on automatically once connected to a powered USB port. Note that the X8 Pro does not have a dedicated power on/off switch.

5.2. Pedals de connexió

• Bottom Controllers (B1-B8): These 8 buttons are also editable and can be assigned to send MIDI messages such as note on/off, program changes, or specific CC values.
• Transport Controllers (P1-P5): These 5 buttons are typically pre-assigned to control common DAW transport functions like Play, Stop, Record, Fast Forward, and Rewind. Their specific MIDI messages can usually be reconfigured if needed.

• Light Dynamics (Curves 1 & 2): Suitable for players who prefer a very responsive touch, where even light presses produce significant volume changes.
• Normal Dynamics (Curves 3 & 4): A balanced response, suitable for general playing.
• Heavy Dynamics (Curves 5 & 6): Requires a firmer touch to achieve louder volumes, ideal for players with a naturally strong attack.
• Settled Dynamics (Curves 7 & 8): Provides a more consistent output regardless of playing force, useful for specific sound design or organ-like playing.

6.4. MIDI Functionality

The X8 Pro functions as a versatile MIDI controller. It sends standard MIDI messages (Note On/Off, Velocity, CC, Program Change, Pitch Bend, Modulation) via USB and its 5-pin MIDI Out port. This allows it to control:

• Virtual instruments and effects in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Bitwig Studio, Audacity, GarageBand, Logic Pro, Protools, etc.

7. Manteniment
