The Elitech PGW-800 is a wireless digital high-pressure gauge designed for precise measurement of refrigerants in HVAC refrigeration systems. It offers advanced features for efficient maintenance and analysis.

2. Configuració i instal·lació

2.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The device requires 3 AA batteries (included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the gauge and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

2.2 Attaching Adapters

Select the appropriate adapter (1/4'' male, 1/4'' female, or bent connector) that matches your refrigeration system's port. Carefully thread the adapter onto the gauge's NPT connection. It is recommended to use Teflon tape on the threads to ensure a tight and sealed connection. Use a wrench for installation and removal to prevent damage to the casing.

2.3 Initial Power-On and Zeroing

Press the power button to turn on the gauge. To reset the reading to zero, hold down the "ZERO" button until the display shows "0.0".

3. Instruccions de funcionament

3.1 Reading Pressure Values

Once connected to the system, the pressure gauge will automatically display the pressure value on its LCD screen. The current unit of measurement will also be shown.

3.2 Changing Units of Measurement

To switch between pressure units, hold the "UNITS" button. The gauge supports MPa, bar, psi, kPa, kg/cm², cmHg, and inHg.

3.3 Bluetooth Connection and App Usage

The Elitech PGW-800 can connect to the Elitech Tools mobile application for enhanced functionality.

1. Activa el Bluetooth: Press the Bluetooth button on the gauge. The Bluetooth logo on the display will flash, indicating it's ready for connection.
2. Open Elitech Gauge App: Launch the Elitech Gauge App on your mobile phone. Ensure Bluetooth and mobile GPS are enabled on your phone.
3. Afegeix un dispositiu: In the app, navigate to "Device management" and click the search button (magnifying glass icon) in the top right corner. Select the correct device (e.g., DPGW-S1) from the list.
4. Connectar: Click the red Bluetooth button next to the device name in the app. Once the Bluetooth icon turns green, the connection is successful.
5. Add to Workbench: Click the "+" icon to add the device to the main workbench interface.

3.4 Superheat and Subcooling Measurement

The app allows for superheat and subcooling calculations. In the app's main interface, click on the pressure display area to open the function selection dialog. Select "SuperHeat/SubCool" to enable these measurements. You can then input pipe temperature to get calculated values.

3.5 Selecció del refrigerant

The app supports a wide range of refrigerants. From the main interface, click on the refrigerant type (e.g., R124) to access the refrigerant management screen. You can select from a list of over 87 refrigerants to match your system.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Atenció general

The Elitech PGW-800 is IP65 waterproof, providing protection against dust and water jets. However, it is recommended to keep the device clean and dry. Avoid dropping the device or exposing it to extreme temperatures.

4.2 Data Recording and Export

The device supports offline data recording for up to 7000 points. To manage recorded data:

1. Set Record Interval: In the app, go to "Device Setting" and select "Set record interval" to choose the desired recording frequency (e.g., 1s, 30s, 1min).
2. Llegir dades: Under "Device Setting", select "Reading data" to transfer historical data from the device to the app.
3. View Informes: In the app's menu, select "Reporting" to view recorded data by date or job. You can analyze data through graphs.
4. Exporta dades: From the reporting section, you can export data to Excel or PDF documents for further analysis or record-keeping.
5. Clear Historical Data: After reading data, the app will prompt you to clear historical data from the device. Confirm if you wish to delete it.
