• This pump should be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes and ordinances.
• This pump should be connected to a 115V, GFCI outlet protected with a 5 AMP fusible o interruptor de circuit.

Instruccions de configuració

The Everbilt utility pump is designed for easy setup. Follow these steps to prepare your pump for operation:

1. Attaching a Garden Hose: Attach a 1-1/4 inch inside diameter or larger garden hose (not included) to the pump's outlet. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
2. Attaching a Smaller Hose (if preferred): If you prefer to use a smaller hose, attach the adapter (Part B) to the pump (Part A) outlet. Then securely attach the smaller hose to the adapter.
3. Col·locació: Place the pump in the area where water needs to be removed. Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water before plugging it in. The pump is designed to drain water from flat surfaces down to 3/16 inches.

Once the pump is properly set up and submerged, operating it is straightforward:

1. Submergir la bomba: Ensure the pump is fully submerged in the water you wish to remove. The pump is designed to handle solids up to 1/8 inch in diameter, but avoid placing it directly in mud or areas with excessive debris to prevent clogging.
2. Connecteu-vos a l'alimentació: Plug the pump's 8-foot power cord into a 115V, GFCI protected outlet. The pump will begin operating automatically once plugged in. There is no on/off switch on the unit itself.
3. Monitor Discharge: Observe the water being discharged through the hose. The pump has a maximum flow rate of 28 gallons per minute and a maximum lifting height of 20 feet.
4. Desconnexió: Once the desired water level is reached or the area is dry, unplug the pump from the electrical outlet.

Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Everbilt utility pump:

• Inspecció de rutina: Periodically unplug the pump (making certain your hands are dry and you are not standing in water). Inspect the pump intake and remove any debris, such as leaves or small particles, that may have accumulated. Then plug the pump back into the grounded GFCI outlet.
• Clearing Clogs: If the pump becomes clogged with debris, follow these steps:

  3. Unscrew any additional screws (typically 4) and remove the impeller gasket.
