3. Configuració i instal·lació
The SmallRig Cold Shoe Mount Adapter can be securely attached to any camera accessory featuring 1/4"-20 or M2.5 threaded holes.
3.1 Identifying Mounting Points
The cold shoe mount features both 1/4"-20 and M2.5 threaded holes on its base for attachment.

3.2 Attachment Procedure
- Identify the desired mounting location on your camera cage, handle, or plate. Ensure it has either a 1/4"-20 or M2.5 threaded hole.
- Align the corresponding threaded hole on the cold shoe mount with the mounting point on your accessory.
- Insert the appropriate screw (1/4"-20 or M2.5) and tighten it using the provided hex spanner until secure.
- Nota: For most camera cages, including those compatible with Sony ZV-E10, a6500, a6300, a6700, the 1/4"-20 screw is typically used. The M2.5 screws are generally for specific SmallRig accessories or when additional stability is required. For SmallRig Full Cage 1661, only the 1/4"-20 screw is needed.

Once the cold shoe mount adapter is securely installed, you can attach various accessories.

- Ensure the accessory is fully seated. The cold shoe mount features two secure bending bevels on one end to prevent accidental removal.
- The white arrows on the surface indicate the recommended direction for sliding accessories for optimal security.

4.2 Compatibilitat

5. Manteniment

- Keep the mount clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the mount to extreme temperatures or corrosive substances.
- Periodically check the tightness of the mounting screws to ensure a secure connection.
6. Solució De Problemes
6.1 Accessory Not Fitting Securely
- Ensure the accessory has a standard cold shoe base.
- Verify that the accessory is slid fully into the mount, past the anti-off bevels.
- Some accessories may have a locking mechanism that needs to be tightened after insertion.
6.2 Mount Not Attaching to Camera Accessory
- Confirm that your camera accessory has 1/4"-20 or M2.5 threaded holes.
- Ensure you are using the correct screw size (1/4"-20 or M2.5) for the threaded hole.
- Tighten the screw firmly with the hex spanner.
6.3 Compatibility Limitations
This Cold Shoe Mount is NO suitable for DJI gimbals and NO for ZHIYUN gimbals.
