1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Boretti B400 Espresso Machine. Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain this manual for future reference.

• Tauler de control: Buttons for Espresso, Cappuccino, and Latte.
• Portafiltre: Conté cafè mòlt.
• Tamper: S'utilitza per comprimir el cafè mòlt al portafiltre.

3. Configuració inicial

1. Desembalatge: Traieu amb cura tots els materials d'embalatge i assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components.
2. Neteja inicial: Before first use, wash the water tank, milk container, portafilter, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp tela.
3. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line (1.2 Liters capacity). Place the tank back securely.
4. Omplir el recipient de llet: If preparing milk-based drinks, fill the removable milk container with cold milk up to the desired level (max 0.7 Liters). Attach it to the machine.
5. Connexió d'alimentació: Place the machine on a stable, level surface. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The machine operates at 2.3E+2 Volts and 1230-1470 Watts.
6. Cicle de primer ús (primació): Before making coffee, run a cycle without coffee to prime the system. Fill the water tank, place a large cup under the coffee spout, and press the Espresso button. Let water flow through until the tank is nearly empty. This cleans the internal components and prepares the pump.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Elaboració d'espresso

1. Assegureu-vos que el dipòsit d'aigua estigui ple.
2. Add desired amount of ground coffee to the portafilter. Use the provided tamper to gently press the coffee down. Do not overfill.
3. Fixeu el portafiltre al capçal de preparació alineant-lo i girant-lo fermament cap a la dreta fins que quedi ben fixat.
4. Place one or two cups on the drip tray directly under the coffee spouts.
5. Press the 'Espresso' button on the control panel. The machine will begin brewing.
6. Once the desired amount of espresso is dispensed, the machine will stop automatically.
7. Traieu amb cura el portafiltre i llenceu els mòlts de cafè usats.

4.2 Preparació de cappuccino o cafè amb llet

1. Follow steps 1-3 for making Espresso.
2. Ensure the milk container is filled with cold milk (0.7 Liters max capacity) and properly attached.
3. Place a cup under the coffee spout and the milk frother spout.
4. Press the 'Cappuccino' or 'Latte' button. The machine will first dispense espresso, then automatically froth and dispense milk into your cup.
5. Once complete, remove your cup.
6. After each use, clean the milk frother system (refer to Maintenance section).

5. Neteja i Manteniment

Una neteja regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil de la teva màquina d'espresso.

• Neteja diària:
  • Buideu i esbandiu la safata de degoteig després de cada ús.
  • Remove and clean the portafilter and filter basket with warm water.
  • Rinse the milk container and frother components thoroughly after each milk-based drink. The milk container is removable and can be stored in the refrigerator with leftover milk.
  • Netegeu l'exterior de la màquina amb un damp tela.
• Neteja setmanal:
  • Traieu i renteu el dipòsit d'aigua.
  • Netegeu el capçal de cervesa amb anunciamp drap per eliminar qualsevol residu de cafè.
• Descalcificació:

  Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, descaling should be performed every 2-3 months. Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for coffee machines and follow the product's instructions. This process removes mineral buildup that can affect machine performance and coffee taste.
