Configuració

3. Griddle Plate Installation: The griddle plate simply sits on top of the main unit, aligning with the base.
4. Connexió de propà: Attach a 1 lb. propane bottle directly to the propane connection point (4 in Figure 2). Alternatively, use a propane adapter hose with regulator (not included) to connect to a 20 lb. propane tank. Ensure all connections are tight before use.
5. Initial Seasoning: Before first use, it is highly recommended to season the griddle surface. This creates a natural non-stick coating and protects against rust. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil (e.g., flaxseed oil, vegetable oil) to the entire griddle surface. Heat the griddle on medium-high until the oil smokes and darkens. Repeat this process 3-5 times, allowing the griddle to cool slightly between layers.

Manteniment i Neteja

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your griddle.

• Gestió de greixos: Utilize the Rear Grease Management System by guiding excess grease through the slot at the back of the griddle plate into the collection cup. Empty and clean the collection cup regularly.
• Després de cada ús: While the griddle is still warm, scrape off any food residue with a griddle scraper. Pour a small amount of water onto the surface to steam clean, then wipe clean with paper towels.
• Re-seasoning: After cleaning, apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the griddle surface to maintain its seasoning and prevent rust. This is especially important if the griddle will not be used for an extended period.
