Follow these steps to set up your Epson L6190 printer.
1. Unboxing and Content Verification
Carefully unbox your printer and verify all contents are included. The package should contain the printer, power cable, driver CD, and ink bottles.

2. Prepare the Ink Tank Unit
Locate the ink tank unit on the side of the printer. Unhook it carefully and open the lid to reveal the ink tanks. Ensure the valve position is in the upright position (printing mode) before proceeding.

3. Fill the Ink Tanks
Prepare each ink bottle by snapping off the tip, removing the foil seal, and then replacing the cap tightly. Match the color of each ink bottle to the corresponding ink tank. Carefully invert the bottle into the tank's spout and allow the ink to fill. The unique spout design prevents misfilling. Fill each tank completely with its respective ink. Once filled, replace the caps securely and re-hook the ink tank unit back into place.

4. Power Connection and Initial Ink Charge
Plug the power cable into the printer and then into a wall outlet. Press the 'Power' button to turn the printer on. Once on, press and hold the 'Ink Charge' button for 3 seconds until the lights start blinking. The initial ink charging process will begin and takes approximately 20 minutes. Do not turn off the printer or unplug it during this process. Also, do not load paper into the printer while ink is charging.
