1. Introducció

The ELRO AS80PR is a wireless motion detector designed to integrate seamlessly with the ELRO AS8000 Smart Home Alarm System. 6. Instal·lació i configuració

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the motion detector.
  2. Insert the supplied CR123A battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

  3. Confirm successful pairing on the AS8000 control panel or via the ELRO app.

Choose a mounting location that provides optimal detection coverage and avoids false alarms:

  • Mount the detector in a corner or on a flat wall at a height of approximately 2.0 to 2.4 meters (6.5 to 8 feet).
  • Ensure the detection area covers the desired entry points or high-traffic zones.
  • Avoid aiming the detector directly at windows, heat sources (e.g., radiators, air conditioning vents), or areas with significant air currents, as these can cause false alarms.
  • The detection range is up to 10 meters with a 110-degree angle in open space.

6.4. Muntatge del dispositiu

  1. Once the optimal location is determined, mark the screw holes on the wall.

7. Operating the Motion Detector

Upon detecting motion, it will transmit a signal to the AS8000 control panel, triggering the alarm according to your system's settings.

8. Manteniment

  • Falses alarmes: Review the mounting location. Ensure there are no heat sources, direct sunlight, or strong air currents in the detection zone. Adjust the detector's angle if possible.
  • Poor detection: Verify that the sensor lens is clean and unobstructed. Ensure the detector is mounted at the recommended height and covers the intended area.
  • Problemes de comunicació: Ensure the detector is within the wireless range of the AS8000 hub (up to 100m in open space, less indoors due to obstacles). Check for potential interference from other wireless devices.
