1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Goodmans GDPRDAB2ST Pocket DAB/FM Radio. Please read these instructions carefully before using the device and retain them for future reference. This portable radio offers both DAB+ digital radio and FM radio reception, an integrated LED torch, and a rechargeable battery for on-the-go listening.

3. Configuració

3.1 Càrrega inicial

Before first use, fully charge the radio's internal battery. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the radio's USB port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not supplied) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator on the display will show charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

3.2 Connecting Earphones

The supplied earphones serve as the antenna for both DAB+ and FM radio reception. For optimal reception, ensure the earphones are fully plugged into the 3.5mm headphone jack and are extended as much as possible. The radio will not receive stations without the earphones connected.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Encès/Apagat

• Per engegar: premeu i manteniu premut el botó Power / ENTER botó durant aproximadament 2 segons.
• Per apagar: premeu i manteniu premut el botó Power / ENTER durant aproximadament 2 segons fins que la pantalla s'apagui.

4.2 Funcionament de la ràdio DAB+

Upon first power-on, or if the station list is empty, the radio will automatically perform a full scan for DAB+ stations. This process may take a few minutes.

• Escaneig automàtic: If a scan is needed, the radio will prompt you or start automatically. To manually initiate a scan, navigate to the "Full Scan" option in the DAB menu using TUN +/- i confirmar amb ENTRAR.
• Selecció d'estació: After a scan, use the TUN - / TUN + buttons to scroll through the available DAB+ stations. Press ENTRAR per seleccionar una estació.
• Visualització d'informació: The LCD screen will show station name, program type, signal strength, and other relevant information.

4.3 Funcionament de la ràdio FM

• Switching to FM: If currently in DAB mode, press the Power / ENTER button briefly to access the mode selection menu, then use TUN +/- to select "FM" and press ENTRAR.
• Escaneig automàtic: Al mode FM, manteniu premut TUN - / TUN + per cercar automàticament la següent emissora disponible.
• Sintonització manual: Premeu breument TUN - / TUN + to fine-tune the frequency step-by-step.
• RDS (Sistema de dades de ràdio): If available, the radio will display station information such as station name or program details on the LCD screen.

4.4 Ajust de volum

The LED torch function is typically activated by a dedicated button or a specific combination of button presses. Refer to the on-screen menu or quick-start guide for exact activation steps. The LED torch provides convenient illumination in low-light conditions.

4.6 Using the Carabiner Clip

The integrated carabiner clip allows for easy attachment of the radio to a belt loop, backpack, or other gear, enhancing its portability and accessibility during outdoor activities or travel.

5. Manteniment

• Neteja: Netegeu la ràdio amb un drap suau i sec. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni dissolvents.
