Muntatge i muntatge

Assembly of the Blackstone 36" Cooking Station is straightforward and typically takes less than an hour with two people. Follow the included instructions carefully for proper setup.

Ensure the propane tank is securely attached to the griddle's hose and regulator. The griddle features a convenient hook to keep the propane tank elevated and out of the way during operation.

Condimentant la planxa

Before first use, and periodically thereafter, it is crucial to season the griddle surface. This creates a natural non-stick coating and protects the griddle from rust. Apply a thin layer of high-heat cooking oil (like flaxseed, vegetable, or canola oil) to the entire cooking surface. Heat the griddle on high until the oil smokes and burns off. Repeat this process 3-4 times until the surface turns dark brown or black.

Ignition and Heat Control

  3. Push the igniter button until the burner ignites.

  1. While the griddle is still warm, use a griddle scraper to push food debris and excess grease into the rear grease tray.
  2. Pour a small amount of water onto the griddle surface and scrape again, pushing the water and remaining debris into the grease tray.
  3. Wipe the griddle surface clean with paper towels.
  4. Once clean, apply a very thin layer of cooking oil to the entire griddle surface to maintain seasoning and prevent rust.

Emmagatzematge

Store the griddle in a dry, covered area when not in use. Consider using a Blackstone griddle cover to protect it from the elements.

Resolució de problemes

  • Griddle not heating evenly: Ensure all burners are lit and operating correctly. Check for any blockages in the burner tubes.
  • Food sticking to the griddle: Re-season the griddle surface thoroughly. Ensure enough cooking oil is used during cooking.
  • Rust on griddle surface: This indicates insufficient seasoning or improper storage. Clean off the rust, re-season the griddle, and ensure it is always lightly oiled after cleaning and stored in a dry place.
  • Wheels not locking: Ensure the wheel locks are fully engaged. Apply pressure to the locking mechanism on each caster wheel.
