1. Introducció

This manual provides important information for the safe and efficient operation of your TROTEC TFC 1 E plug-in ceramic heater. Please read these instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference. The TFC 1 E is a compact 500W ceramic heater designed for supplemental heating in small indoor spaces, featuring an adjustable thermostat, a 12-hour timer, and a fan mode.

• Always ensure the heater is unplugged before cleaning or maintenance.

• Do not cover the heater. Covering the heater can cause overheating and fire. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit.
• Keep flammable materials (e.g., furniture, curtains, paper) at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from the heater.

3. Components del producte

Familiarize yourself with the parts of your TROTEC TFC 1 E heater:

1. Pantalla digital: Shows temperature settings, timer, and fan mode.
2. Tauler de control: Buttons for power, temperature adjustment, timer, and fan speed.

4. Configuració

Segueix aquests passos per configurar el teu escalfador:

1. Desembalar: Traieu amb cura l'escalfador del seu embalatge. Conserveu l'embalatge per a emmagatzematge o transport futur.
2. Col·locació: Choose a suitable wall socket in the desired room. Ensure the heater is positioned upright and has at least 1 meter (3 feet) clearance from any walls, furniture, or flammable materials. Do not place it under a wall socket.
3. Connectar: Insert the heater directly into a standard 230V AC wall socket. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
4. Main Power On: Locate the main power switch on the side of the unit and switch it to the "ON" (I) position. The digital display will show "--" indicating standby mode.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Once the heater is plugged in and the main power switch is ON, you can operate it using the control panel.

5.1. Encendre/apagar

• From standby mode ("--"), press the Botó d'encesa () on the control panel. The display will show "30" (default temperature) and the heater will begin to operate.
• Per apagar-lo, premeu el botó Botó d'encesa again. The heater will enter standby mode.

5.2. Ajust de temperatura

• While the heater is operating, press the Temperature Up button () o Botó per baixar la temperatura () to set your desired temperature between 15°C and 30°C.
• The heater will automatically turn off when the room reaches the set temperature and turn back on if the temperature drops.

5.3. Funció de temporitzador

• Premeu el botó Botó del temporitzador () to activate the timer. Each press will increase the timer setting by 1 hour, up to a maximum of 12 hours.
• The display will show the remaining hours. The heater will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.
• To cancel the timer, press the Timer button repeatedly until "00" is displayed, or turn the heater off and on again.

5.4. Fan Mode (Fan Speed)

• Premeu el botó Botó del ventilador () to cycle through fan speed settings: "LL" (low) and "HH" (high).
• This also controls the fan-only mode when heating is not active.

5.5. Post-Function Cooling

After the heater turns off (either manually or by thermostat/timer), the fan may continue to run for a short period (approximately 60 seconds). This is a normal post-function cooling process to protect the heating element and extend the product's lifespan.

6.1. Neteja

6.2. Emmagatzematge

• Si guardeu l'escalfador durant un període prolongat, netegeu-lo a fons tal com s'ha descrit anteriorment.
• Store the heater in its original packaging, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
