4. Instruccions de configuració

Follow these steps to set up your AirTies Air 4920 Smart Mesh Wi-Fi Access Point.

4.1 Col·locació inicial

• Place the Air 4920 in a central location within the area where you need improved Wi-Fi coverage.
• Ensure it is within reasonable range of your existing main router or another mesh unit.
• Avoid placing the device near large metal objects, concrete walls, or other electronics that may cause interference.
• Ensure adequate airflow around the unit to prevent overheating. Do not place it in enclosed spaces or direct sunlight.

• The Wi-Fi indicator LEDs (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) on the Air 4920 will flash during the connection process and turn solid green once successfully connected to the network.
• If the connection is not established, try moving the Air 4920 closer to your main router/mesh unit and repeat the WPS process.

4.4 Connecting to Your Network (Manual Method via Web Interfície)

For advanced configuration or if WPS is not available, you can set up the Air 4920 via its web interfície.

• Connect a computer directly to one of the Gigabit Ethernet ports on the Air 4920 using an Ethernet cable.
• Obre a web browser and navigate to the default IP address of the Air 4920. This address is typically found in the documentation provided by your service provider (e.g., Frontier) or on a label on the device. Common default IPs include 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1.
• Log in using the default username and password. These credentials are also usually found in the device documentation or on a label.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the Air 4920 as an access point or to join an existing mesh network.

5.1 Indicadors LED

The two Gigabit Ethernet ports (labeled 1 and 2) on the rear of the device can be used to connect wired devices such as computers, gaming consoles, or smart TVs to your network, providing a stable and high-speed connection.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your AirTies Air 4920.
