Configuració

Follow these steps to set up your RP-4000 MK2 turntable:

1. Col·locació: Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive vibration. Ensure adequate ventilation.
2. Instal·lació de la safata: Carefully place the turntable platter onto the center spindle. Ensure it sits flush and rotates freely.

4. Headshell and Cartridge Attachment: Attach the OM Black pick-up system (pre-mounted on the headshell) to the S-shaped tonearm. Secure it by rotating the locking ring clockwise.
5. Ajust del contrapès: Slide the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm. Rotate it until the tonearm is balanced horizontally (floating freely). Then, set the tracking force according to the cartridge manufacturer's specifications (typically 2-4 grams for DJ cartridges).
6. Ajust antipatinatge: Adjust the anti-skating dial to match the tracking force. This prevents the stylus from skipping inwards.
7. Connexions:
   • Connect the RCA audio cables from the turntable to the PHONO input of your mixer or ampmés viu. Nota: This turntable does not have a built-in pre-amplifier. A PHONO input or an external pre-ampcal un lificador.

Instruccions de funcionament

Once set up, operate your turntable using the following guidelines:

1. Encès/apagat: Rotate the START/STOP knob clockwise to power on the turntable. The platter will begin to rotate. Rotate counter-clockwise to power off.
2. Selecció de velocitat: Use the SPEED buttons (33, 45, 78) to select the desired playback speed for your vinyl record. The corresponding LED will illuminate.
3. Control de to: The pitch fader allows for fine adjustment of the playback speed. The 8%/16% button toggles between a +/-8% and +/-16% pitch range. The RESET button instantly returns the pitch to 0%.
4. Reverse Play: Press the REVERSE button to play the record in reverse. Press it again to return to forward play.
5. Tonearm Operation:
   • Use the tonearm lift lever to raise and lower the tonearm gently.
   • Manually position the tonearm over the desired groove on the record.
   • Lower the tonearm using the lift lever to begin playback.
