3. Muntatge i muntatge
Your snow blower requires some assembly before initial use. Follow the instructions provided in the separate assembly guide for detailed steps. The general assembly process is straightforward, but attention to detail is crucial.
Initial Checks and Adjustments:
- Desembalatge: Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge. Inspeccioneu-ho per veure si hi ha danys durant l'enviament.
- Elements de fixació: Ensure all nuts, bolts, and connections are securely tightened.
- Sabates antilliscants: Adjust the skid shoes to the appropriate height for your surface. For optimal snow removal without leaving a layer, ensure the skid shoes are set so the scraper blade rests close to the ground. Avoid centering them if you want to clear snow completely.
- Oli de motor: The engine requires 20 oz of oil. While some units may include a starter oil can, always verify the oil level before the first start and after every 5 hours of operation. The oil gauge can be difficult to read due to clear oil; ensure the dipstick is fully inserted and removed for an accurate reading.
- Combustible: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, non-ethanol gasoline (87 octane or higher) mixed with a fuel stabilizer. The tank capacity is approximately 0.5 gallons.
- Key Retention: Consider drilling a small hole in the contact key and attaching it with a wire to the handlebar to prevent loss in snow.
4. Instruccions de funcionament
Familiaritzeu-vos amb els controls abans d'engegar el motor.
Arrencada del motor:
- Ensure the fuel valve is open and the choke is set to the appropriate position (usually 'Choke' for cold starts).
- Insert the contact key into the ignition slot.
- Arrencada elèctrica: Connect an extension cord to the electric start port. Press the electric start button for 2-3 seconds. Do not hold for more than 5 seconds. Repeat if necessary.
- Arrencada manual per estirar: If using the pull cord, grasp the handle firmly and pull gently until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly. Do not pull too hard or let the cord snap back.
- Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke to the 'Run' position as the engine warms up.

Self-Propelled Drive and Speed Control:
- The snow blower features a self-propelled drive system with 6 forward and 2 reverse speed settings.
- Use lower forward gears (1-4) for clearing snow and higher gears (5-6) for moving the machine without actively clearing.
- Engage the drive lever to activate the self-propulsion.
