1. Introducció
This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Polycom SoundStation IP 6000 IP Conference Phone. The SoundStation IP 6000 is designed to deliver high-quality audio conferencing over IP networks, suitable for various meeting environments.

4. Configuració
4.1 Connexió física
- Connecteu el cable Ethernet: Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the SoundStation IP 6000 and the other end into a network switch or router that supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). If PoE is not available, connect an external power adapter (not included) to the power port on the phone.
- Encès: The phone will automatically power on once connected to a PoE-enabled network or an external power adapter.
4.2 Registre de xarxa
The SoundStation IP 6000 requires registration with your Voice over IP (VoIP) service provider or Private Branch Exchange (PBX) system before it can be used to make or receive calls. This process typically involves:

5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Fer una trucada
- Ensure the phone is registered and idle.
- Marqueu el número de telèfon desitjat amb el teclat numèric.
- Premeu el botó Marqueu or Enviar soft key (displayed on screen) or the green call button to initiate the call.
5.2 Recepció d'una trucada
- When the phone rings, the caller ID will be displayed on the screen.
- Premeu el botó Respon soft key or the green call button to accept the call.
5.3 Conference Features
- Control de volum: Utilitza el + i - buttons to adjust the speaker volume during a call.
- Silenciar: Premeu el botó Silenciar button to mute your microphone. The mute indicator light will illuminate. Press again to unmute.
- Manteniu: Premeu el botó Aguanta soft key to place an active call on hold.
- Add Participant: Durant una trucada activa, premeu Conf or Afegeix soft key, dial the new participant's number, and then press Conf again to merge the calls.
6. Manteniment
- Neteja: Regularly wipe the phone's surface with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Emmagatzematge: If storing the phone for an extended period, disconnect it from power and network, and store it in a cool, dry place.
7. Solució De Problemes
- El telèfon no s'encén: Verify that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to a PoE-enabled port or that an external power adapter (if used) is properly connected and functional.
- No puc fer/rebre trucades: Ensure the phone is successfully registered with your VoIP service provider. Check network connectivity. Contact your VoIP provider or IT administrator for registration details and network status.
- Stuck in Boot Loop: If the phone continuously restarts or gets stuck during startup, this may indicate a firmware issue. Try performing a factory reset (consult Polycom documentation for specific steps) or contact technical support for assistance with firmware recovery or updates.
- Mala qualitat d'àudio: Check network connection stability. Ensure microphones are not obstructed and volume is adjusted appropriately.
