1. Introducció

4. Configuració

4.1. Instal·lació de bateries

1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del monitor.
2. Introduïu quatre (4) piles AA, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).
3. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

4.2. Col·locació del braçalet

1. Locate the air tube connector on the arm cuff.
2. Firmly insert the air tube connector into the air jack on the side of the blood pressure monitor. Ensure a snug fit.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Abans de prendre una mesura

• Eviteu menjar, beure alcohol, fumar o fer exercici durant almenys 30 minuts abans de la mesura.
• Rest for 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
• Seieu en una posició còmoda amb l'esquena recolzada i els peus a terra.
• Col·loca el braç sobre una superfície plana de manera que el maneguet quedi a l'alçada del cor.

5.2. Aplicació del braç

1. Feu lliscar el braç esquerre per la llaçada del maniguet. El tub d'aire ha de baixar per la part interior del braç.
2. Position the cuff so the bottom edge is approximately 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8 inches) above your elbow. The artery mark on the cuff should align with your brachial artery.
3. Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm, securing it with the hook-and-loop fastener. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

5.3. Prendre una mesura

1. With the cuff correctly applied and your arm positioned, press the COMENÇA botó.
2. The cuff will automatically inflate to a suitable level. The monitor uses advanced technology to customize inflation for comfort.
3. Once inflation is complete, the cuff will slowly deflate, and your blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and pulse rate will be displayed on the large LCD screen.
4. The monitor will also display a colored gauge next to the readings to help interpret the result.
5. If an irregular heartbeat is detected, an indicator will appear on the display.
6. La mesura s'emmagatzemarà automàticament a la memòria del dispositiu.
7. To stop a measurement at any time, press the COMENÇA botó de nou.

5.4. Comprensió de les lectures

La pantalla mostra:

6. Funcions de memòria

The Medline Advanced Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor can store up to 90 measurements for 3 users, allowing you to track your health progress over time.

6.1. Accessing Stored Readings

1. Premeu el botó MEM button when the monitor is off.
2. The display will show the average of the last three readings.
3. Premeu el botó MEM button repeatedly to scroll through individual stored measurements, from most recent to oldest.
4. Each measurement will display the blood pressure, pulse rate, and the date/time it was taken.

7.1. Neteja del dispositiu

• Netegeu el monitor i el braçalet amb un drap suau i sec.
• Si cal, utilitzeu una mica damp drap amb sabó suau i després eixugueu-lo.
• No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents ni submergiu el dispositiu en aigua.

• Store the device and cuff in the provided carrying case when not in use.
• Conservar en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
• Traieu les bateries si el dispositiu no s'utilitzarà durant un període prolongat.
