1. Introducció
This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Cisco IP Phone 7841 (Model CP-7841-K9). Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to avoid potential issues.
The Cisco IP Phone 7841 is designed for use with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) systems. It is not compatible with third-party call control (3PCC) systems.

3.1. Components clau

4. Configuració
4.1. Connexió del telèfon

- Connexió PoE: If using Power over Ethernet, connect an Ethernet cable from your network switch (PoE enabled) to the network port on the back of the phone.
- External Power Supply (Sold Separately): If PoE is not available, connect an external power adapter (not included) to the power port on the back of the phone, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. Connect an Ethernet cable from your network switch to the network port on the back of the phone.
- Optional: Connect to PC: If desired, connect an Ethernet cable from the PC port on the back of the phone to your computer. This allows your computer to share the network connection through the phone.
4.2. Arrencada inicial
Once connected, the phone will power on and begin its boot-up sequence. This may take a few minutes as it connects to the network and registers with your Cisco Unified Communications Manager system. The display will show progress messages.
Upon successful registration, the display will show the current date, time, and your phone line status.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1. Fer i respondre trucades
- Per fer una trucada:
- Lift the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press a line button.
- Marqueu el número amb el teclat.
- Premeu el botó Marqueu softkey (if available) or wait for the call to connect.
- Per respondre una trucada:
- Aixequeu l'auricular.

- Press the flashing line button.

5.2. Funcions de trucada
- Manteniu: Premeu el botó ⏸ (Hold) button to place an active call on hold. Press it again to resume.
- Transferència: Durant una trucada activa, premeu ⇆ (Transfer) button. Dial the transfer recipient's number. When the recipient answers (or after ringing), press the Transfer button again to complete.
- Conferència: Durant una trucada activa, premeu 👥 (Conference) button. Dial the number of the person you want to add. When they answer, press the Conference button again to join all parties.
- Silenciar: Premeu el botó 🔇 (Mute) button to mute your microphone during a call. Press again to unmute.
- Torna a marcar: Premeu el botó Reposició tecla programada per trucar a l'últim número marcat.
- No Molestis (DND): The display may show "Do Not Disturb" as a softkey option. This feature typically sends incoming calls directly to voicemail or a busy signal. Consult your system administrator for specific DND functionality.
5.3. Ajust de volum
Utilitza el Volum (+ / -) button located below the handset to adjust the volume of the handset, headset, or speakerphone during a call. When the phone is idle, it adjusts the ringer volume.
5.4. Accessing Menus and Settings
Utilitza el Clúster de navegació (central button with arrows) to scroll through menus and select options. The Configuració (⚙) button provides access to phone settings such as ringtones, display contrast, and network configurations. Consult your system administrator before making changes to network settings.
