3. Configuració
3.1 Muntatge de la mira telescòpica
Proper mounting is crucial for accuracy and consistent performance. Use high-quality rings and bases compatible with your rifle and the riflescope's main tube diameter. Ensure the scope is level and eye relief is set correctly for your shooting position.
- Secure the bases to your rifle according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Place the lower halves of the rings onto the bases.
- Position the riflescope in the lower rings, ensuring the reticle is level.
- Place the upper halves of the rings and tighten the screws evenly, following the torque specifications provided by the ring manufacturer. Do not overtighten.
- Adjust the eye relief by sliding the scope forward or backward until you achieve a full, clear field of view without any black crescent shadows.
3.2 Battery Installation for Illuminated Reticle
The illuminated reticle requires a CR2032 coin cell battery. The battery compartment is typically located on the illumination control turret.
- Unscrew the battery cap on the illumination control turret.
- Insert a fresh CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards (towards the cap).
- Carefully screw the battery cap back on, ensuring it is finger-tight to maintain the waterproof seal.
4. Funcionament
4.1 Ajust d'ampliació
The magnification ring is located near the ocular lens. Rotate this ring to adjust the magnification from 3x to 12x. The numbers on the ring indicate the current magnification setting.
4.2 Ús de la retícula il·luminada
The illumination control is integrated into the parallax turret (if applicable) or a dedicated turret. Rotate the illumination control to turn the reticle illumination on and adjust its brightness. The #60 reticle features a fine illuminated dot for precise aiming.
- Rotate the illumination dial clockwise to increase brightness.
- Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease brightness and turn off the illumination.
- Intermediate "off" positions may be present between brightness settings to quickly turn off the illumination without returning to the lowest setting.
4.3 Elevation and Windage Adjustment
The ZEISS Conquest V4 3-12x56 features a capped elevation turret and a windage turret for precise point of impact adjustments. Each click of the turret adjusts the point of impact by 0.25 MOA.
- Torreta d'elevació: Unscrew the cap on the top turret. Rotate the turret clockwise to move the point of impact down, and counter-clockwise to move it up.
- Torreta de vent: Unscrew the cap on the right-side turret. Rotate the turret clockwise to move the point of impact right, and counter-clockwise to move it left.
- After making adjustments, replace the turret caps to protect the settings.
4.4 Parallax Adjustment
The ZEISS Conquest V4 3-12x56 Riflescope features a fixed parallax setting, optimized for typical hunting distances. Therefore, no manual parallax adjustment is required or available on this model.
