1. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Please read all instructions carefully before operating your Frigidaire EFIC102 Ice Maker. Retain this manual for future reference.

• Assegureu-vos que l'aparell estigui connectat a una presa de corrent amb connexió a terra.
• No submergiu el cable d'alimentació, l'endoll ni cap part de l'aparell en aigua ni en altres líquids.
• Superviseu els nens quan l'aparell estigui en ús.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if it malfunctions or is damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.
• Utilitzeu només aigua potable a la màquina de gel.
• Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
• Aquest aparell està dissenyat només per a ús domèstic.

Components:

• Tauler de control: Digital LED display for settings and indicators.
• Finestra transparent: Allows monitoring of ice production and levels.

3. Configuració i primer ús

3.1 Desembalatge

1. Remove all packaging materials, including tape and labels.
2. Inspect the ice maker for any damage. Do not operate if damaged.
3. Remove the ice basket and ice scoop from inside the unit.

3.2 Col·locació

• Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 1 hour before plugging it in, especially if it was tilted during transport. This allows refrigerants to settle.

3.3 Neteja inicial

1. Clean the interior of the unit, including the water reservoir and ice basket, with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
2. Drain any residual water through the drain plug.

4. Funcionament

4.1 Afegir aigua

1. Obriu la tapa superior de la màquina de gel.
2. Traieu la cistella de gel.
3. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. The reservoir has a 2.3 quart capacity.
4. Substituïu la cistella de gel i tanqueu la tapa.

4.2 Fabricació de gel

1. Connecteu la màquina de gel a una presa de corrent amb connexió a terra.
2. Premeu el botó ON/OFF button on the control panel to start the ice making cycle.
3. Select your desired ice cube size (small or large) using the control panel. The unit produces bullet-shaped ice cubes.
4. The first batch of ice will be ready in approximately 6-9 minutes. Subsequent batches may be faster.
5. The "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full. The unit will pause operation until ice is removed.
6. The "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low. The unit will pause operation until water is refilled.

Nota: This ice maker is designed to produce ice, not to store it long-term. Ice will melt if left in the basket. For best results, transfer newly made ice to a freezer for storage.

5. Manteniment i Neteja

Una neteja regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil de la màquina de gel.

5.1 Neteja diària

• After each use, or at the end of the day, turn off and unplug the unit.
• Remove the ice basket and empty any remaining ice.
• Open the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit to empty the water reservoir.
• Netegeu l'interior amb un suau, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly before closing the drain plug.

5.2 Neteja profunda (mensual)

1. Prepare a solution of water and a small amount of white vinegar or a dedicated ice maker cleaning solution.
2. Pour the cleaning solution into the water reservoir.
3. Feu funcionar la màquina de gel durant uns quants cicles (sense consumir el gel) per fer circular la solució.
4. Escorreu completament la solució.
5. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water, running several cycles with fresh water and draining each time, to remove any residue.
6. Netejar l'exterior amb un d, suauamp tela.

Important: Only use potable water in the ice maker. Avoid adding any other liquids, as this can lead to mold growth and damage the unit.
