1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the Rossmax Swiss Design X5 Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor. This device is designed for accurate and reliable measurement of blood pressure and pulse rate at home. It incorporates advanced PARR (Pulse Arrhythmia) technology for early detection of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), Premature Contraction (PC), Tachycardia, and Bradycardia during regular blood pressure checks. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the benefits of this device.

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Obriu la tapa de la bateria a la part posterior de la unitat.
2. Insert four (4) AA size batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.
3. Tanqueu la tapa de la bateria amb seguretat.

Nota: The device can also be powered by an optional AC adaptor (not included).

4.2 Connexió del maneguet

Insert the air plug of the cuff firmly into the air jack on the left side of the monitor. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leakage during measurement.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Abans de la mesura

• Eviteu menjar, beure alcohol, fumar i fer exercici durant almenys 30 minuts abans de la mesura.
• Descansa almenys 5 minuts abans de prendre una mesura.
• Seu dret amb l'esquena recolzada i els peus recolzats a terra.
• Col·loca el braç sobre una taula de manera que el maneguet quedi a l'alçada del cor.
• Ensure the cuff is applied directly to your bare arm, not over clothing.

5.2 Aplicació del puny

1. Slide the end of the cuff through the metal ring to form a loop. The smooth cloth should be on the inside of the cuff loop.
2. Place the cuff on your left upper arm so that the air tube runs down the inside of your arm.
3. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow.
4. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

5.3 Prendre una mesura

1. Premeu el botó Poder botó per encendre el monitor.
2. The cuff will automatically inflate. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
3. Once the measurement is complete, the monitor will display your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA) blood pressure, and Pulse rate.
4. The display will also show indicators for PARR technology (ARR/AFib/PC) if detected.
5. The measurement will be automatically stored in the device's memory.
6. The device will auto-shut-off approximately 1 minute after the last key operation.

5.4 Comprensió dels indicadors de visualització

• PULSE /min: Your pulse rate in beats per minute.
• ARR: Arrhythmia detection.
• AFib: Atrial Fibrillation detection.

• M: Memory indicator. The device stores 60 memories for each of two zones.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

• Netegeu el monitor i el braçalet amb un drap suau i sec.
• No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni submergiu el dispositiu en aigua.

6.2 Emmagatzematge

• Guardeu el dispositiu en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
• Si no heu d'utilitzar el dispositiu durant un període prolongat, traieu-ne les piles per evitar fuites.
