1. Introducció

The Lutron LECL-153P-WH-3 Lumea CL Dimmer Switch is designed to provide optimal dimming performance for a wide range of bulb types, including 150W dimmable LED/CFL bulbs or 600W incandescent/halogen bulbs. This dimmer can be installed in either single-pole or 3-way applications. It features a large rocker switch for turning lights on and off, and a smooth slide control for adjusting brightness levels. 4. Configuració i instal·lació

4.1. Preparació

1. Apagueu l'alimentació: At the circuit breaker, turn off the power to the switch location.
2. Elimina l'interruptor existent: Carefully remove the wallplate and mounting screws from the existing switch. Pull the switch out of the wall box.
3. Identifica els cables: Identify the wires connected to the existing switch. Typically, these include a hot (line) wire, a load wire (to the light fixture), and a ground wire. For 3-way installations, you will also have two traveler wires.

• Cable de terra: Connect the bare copper or green insulated ground wire from the wall box to the green ground wire on the dimmer.
• Cablejat unipolar: Connect one black wire from the dimmer to the hot (line) wire from the wall box. Connect the other black wire from the dimmer to the load wire (to the light fixture). Cap off the red/white stripe wire if present.
• Cablejat de 3 vies: Connect the black wire from the dimmer to the common wire (often darker or marked differently) from the wall box. Connect the red wire from the dimmer to one traveler wire. Connect the red/white stripe wire from the dimmer to the other traveler wire. The other 3-way switch will also need to be wired correctly.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Operating your Lumea CL dimmer is straightforward:

• Encendre/apagar els llums: Press the large rocker switch at the top of the dimmer to turn the connected lights on or off.
• Dim/Brighten Lights: Use the vertical slide control on the right side of the dimmer. Slide it up to increase the light intensity (brighten) and slide it down to decrease the light intensity (dim).

6. Advanced Features: Dimming Range Adjustment

The Lumea CL dimmer includes a low-end trim adjustment tab, which allows you to fine-tune the lowest light level for optimal performance with your specific bulbs, especially LEDs. This helps prevent flickering or lights turning off prematurely at low dim settings.

6.1. How to Adjust the Low-End Trim

1. Turn the lights on and slide the main dimmer control all the way down to its lowest setting.
2. Locate the small blue tab on the left side of the dimmer, next to the main slide control.
3. Using a small screwdriver or your fingernail, slowly move this blue tab up or down.
4. Adjust the tab until the lights are at their lowest stable dimming level without flickering or turning off.
5. Once the desired low-end is set, the dimmer will remember this setting.

7. Manteniment

Your Lutron dimmer switch requires minimal maintenance.
