Installing the Infant Insert and Head Support

The infant insert and head support are crucial for newborns, providing proper ergonomic support. Place the infant insert into the car seat shell, ensuring it aligns with the harness slots. Position the head support securely at the top of the insert.

Installing the LATCH Base (Optional)

Converting from Car Seat to Stroller

The Doona's signature feature is its quick and easy transformation. To convert from car seat mode to stroller mode:

1. Ensure the Doona is on a flat, stable surface.
2. Locate the red lever at the back of the car seat.
3. Press the red lever and simultaneously pull the handle upwards and forwards until the wheels extend and lock into place.
4. Ensure all four wheels are fully extended and locked before use.

Converting from Stroller to Car Seat

To convert from stroller mode back to car seat mode:

1. Ensure the Doona is on a flat, stable surface.
2. Push the handlebar fully forward until it clicks into the upright position.
3. Locate the red lever at the back of the unit.
4. Press the red lever and gently push the handlebar downwards, allowing the wheels to retract and fold underneath the car seat.
5. Ensure the wheels are fully retracted and the unit is compact before placing in a vehicle.

Adjusting Handlebar

The handlebar can be adjusted for comfortable pushing. Press the grey buttons on either side of the handlebar to extend or retract it to your desired height. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

Using the 5-Point Harness

To secure your child, place them in the seat and bring the shoulder straps over their shoulders. Connect the two buckle tongues into the buckle receiver until you hear a click. Pull the adjustment strap to tighten the harness snugly against your child's body. To release, press the red button on the buckle.
