Before connecting the adapter, ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) for full functionality.
- Connect to Host Laptop: Connect the included 1-meter USB-C host cable from the adapter's USB Type-C (Host) port to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop.

- USB 3.0 Mode: When the switch is set to USB 3.0, the adapter supports dual 1080p DisplayPort monitors or a single 4K 30Hz DisplayPort monitor. In this mode, the USB-A ports operate at USB 3.0 (5Gbps) speeds. This setting is suitable when faster USB data transfer is required, such as for external storage devices.
Adjust the switch according to your current needs. Changes to the switch setting may require reconnecting the adapter or restarting your display configuration for the new settings to take effect.
Power Delivery (PD 3.0)
The adapter supports Power Delivery 3.0, allowing you to power and charge your laptop and connected peripherals through a single USB-C connection. Connect your laptop's USB-C power adapter to the dedicated USB-C power input port on the multiport adapter. The adapter reserves 15W for its own operation, providing up to 85W for laptop charging. PD 3.0 includes Fast Role Swap, which helps prevent USB data disruption if you switch power sources (e.g., from a wall adapter to bus power).
