4. Attach Plow Blade: Secure the 72" Pro-Poly Plow Blade (#105872) to the push tubes using the designated hitch pins. The front-mount system allows for quick attachment and detachment using two standard 5/8" hitch pins. Verify that the blade can pivot freely and that all safety mechanisms are engaged.

• Engaging the Plow: Use your UTV's winch or lift system to raise and lower the plow blade. The KFI system provides over 30 inches of lift height.
• Adjusting Plow Angle: The plow blade can be angled left, right, or straight ahead. Adjust the angle using the designated pin or lever mechanism on the push tubes. Ensure the angle is securely locked before plowing.
• Plowing Technique: Begin plowing at a slow speed. Avoid hitting fixed objects or driving too fast, which can damage the plow or UTV. Overlap passes to ensure complete snow removal.
• Clearing Obstacles: If the plow encounters a significant obstacle, the trip springs are designed to allow the blade to trip forward, preventing damage. Reduce speed and clear the obstacle before continuing.
• Disengaging the Plow: When finished, raise the plow blade, return it to the straight-ahead position, and secure it for transport or storage. For long-term storage, detach the plow system from the UTV.

6. Manteniment

• Wear Bar: The 2-sided 3/16" x 3.00" Grade 50 Steel Wear Bar is designed for durability. Inspect it regularly for wear. When one side is worn, it can be flipped to utilize the second side. Replace the wear bar when both sides are worn to maintain plowing effectiveness and protect the blade.
• Emmagatzematge: When not in use, store the plow system in a clean, dry area to protect it from the elements.
