This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Salter BPW-9101-EU Digital Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. This device is designed for home use to measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate from the wrist. It also detects irregular heartbeats.

3. Components del dispositiu

4. Configuració
4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria
- Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del dispositiu.

4.2 Configuració de la data i l'hora
Accurate date and time settings are important for tracking your measurements.
- Amb el dispositiu apagat, premeu i manteniu premut el botó SET button for a few seconds until the year flashes.
- Premeu el botó MEM botó per ajustar l'any. Premeu SET to confirm and move to the month.
- Repeat this process for month, day, hour, and minute.
- Un cop confirmats tots els paràmetres, el dispositiu sortirà del mode de configuració.
4.3 Aplicació del puny del canell

The cuff is designed to fit wrist circumferences between 13.5 and 21.5 cm.
- Remove any tight clothing or accessories from your left wrist.
- Place the monitor on your left wrist with the display facing upwards, approximately 1-2 cm from your palm.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your wrist. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose. The hook-and-loop fastener should be secure.
- Position your arm so the monitor is at heart level. You can support your elbow on a table and keep your palm open.

5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Prendre una mesura
- Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor. Relax for 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Ensure the cuff is correctly applied to your wrist and your arm is positioned at heart level.
- Premeu el botó Poder button to start the measurement. The cuff will inflate automatically.
- Romandre quiet i en silenci durant la mesura.
- Once the measurement is complete, the systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
- The result will be automatically stored in the device's memory.
- Premeu el botó Poder button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after 1 minute of inactivity.
5.2 Interpretació dels resultats

The monitor features a WHO (World Health Organization) classification indicator on the left side of the display. This color-coded bar helps you understand your blood pressure readings at a glance:
- Red (Sev.): Hipertensió greu
- Orange (Mod.): Hipertensió moderada
- Yellow (Mild): Hipertensió lleu
- Light Green (High-norm.): High-Normal Blood Pressure
- Green (Norm.): Pressió arterial normal
- Dark Green (Opt.): Optimal Blood Pressure
- Blue (Hype.): Hypotension (low blood pressure)
If the irregular heartbeat symbol appears on the display, it indicates that an irregular pulse was detected during the measurement. This is not a diagnosis, but a suggestion to consult your doctor.
5.3 ViewRegistres de memòria
The device can store up to 60 measurement records.

- To exit memory mode, press the Poder button or wait for automatic shut-off.
6. Manteniment
6.1 Neteja
