Follow these steps to set up your BrosTrend WiFi Extender. You can choose between WPS setup or Web UI setup.

Plug the WiFi extender into an electrical outlet. For optimal performance, place the extender halfway between your existing WiFi router and the area with weak or no WiFi signal (dead zone). The extender should be within the range of your existing WiFi network to establish a good connection.

2. Setup using WPS Button (Recommended for quick setup)

1. Plug the BrosTrend WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your main router.
2. Wait for the PWR LED on the extender to light up solid blue.
3. Press the WPS button on your existing WiFi router. The WPS LED on your router should start blinking.
4. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the BrosTrend WiFi Extender. The WPS LED on the extender will blink.
5. Wait for the Signal LED on the extender to turn solid blue. This indicates a successful connection and optimal signal strength. If it lights red, move the extender closer to the router. If it's off, ensure it's within the router's WiFi coverage.

1. Plug the BrosTrend WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet.
2. On your computer or smartphone, connect to the extender's default WiFi network (e.g., "BrosTrend_EXT"). No password is required for the initial connection.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a login password for the extender's management interface.
5. The extender will scan for available WiFi networks. Select your existing WiFi network (both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands will be listed if your router supports dual-band).
6. Enter the WiFi password for your existing network.
7. Confirm the settings and wait for the extender to apply them. The extender will reboot.
8. Once the Signal LED turns solid blue, the setup is complete. Your extended network names will typically be your original network name with "_EXT" or "_5GEXT" appended.
