4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The LS103 transmitter requires 3 AA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the transmitter handle.
2. Press the tab and slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.

4.2 Binding/Pairing with RC Car

To establish communication between the transmitter and your RC car, a binding process is required. Refer to your specific HBX RC car model's manual (18858, 18859, or 18859A) for detailed binding instructions, as the procedure may vary slightly per receiver. Generally, the steps involve:

1. Ensure both the transmitter and the RC car's receiver are powered off.
2. Turn on the RC car's receiver (or connect its battery). The receiver's LED should blink, indicating it's in binding mode.
3. While holding the bind button (if present on the transmitter, otherwise just power on), turn on the transmitter.
4. The LED on both the transmitter and receiver should become solid, indicating a successful bind.
5. Turn off both devices and then turn them on again in sequence (transmitter first, then car) to confirm the bind.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Controlsview

Familiarize yourself with the main controls of the LS103 transmitter:

• Volant: Controls the left and right steering of the RC car. Turn clockwise for right, counter-clockwise for left.
• Activador de l'accelerador: Pull the trigger towards you to accelerate forward. Push the trigger away from you to brake or reverse.

5.2 Advanced Settings Switches

On the bottom side of the transmitter, you will find two switches for advanced control adjustments:

• SLOW/NORMAL Switch: This switch controls the maximum speed output of the RC car. Set to 'SLOW' for beginners or indoor use, and 'NORMAL' for full speed and outdoor use.
• STEERING REV./NORMAL Switch: This switch reverses the direction of the steering servo. If the car steers right when you turn the wheel left, flip this switch to 'REV.' to correct the steering direction.
