Configuració

1. Instal·lació

Choose a suitable location for installation, either indoors or outdoors. Ensure the location is protected from direct sunlight and extreme weather conditions if possible. Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the controller to a wall. Ensure there is adequate space for wiring and ventilation.

2. Wiring the Sprinkler Valves

Before wiring, ensure the power adapter is NOT plugged into an electrical outlet. Connect your sprinkler valve wires to the corresponding terminals on the controller. The controller supports up to 12 zones. Connect the common wire from your valves to the terminal labeled "COMMON" or "C". Connect each individual zone wire to terminals 1 through 12. Refer to the diagram below for typical wiring configuration.

After connecting all valve wires, plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet. The controller will power on and display initial setup options.

3. App Setup and Wi-Fi Connection

Download the Orbit B-hyve app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Follow the in-app instructions to create an account and add your new B-hyve controller. The app will guide you through connecting the controller to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz, as 5 GHz networks are not supported by this device.

The B-hyve controller offers flexible programming options. You can create multiple watering programs (A, B, C, D) with different start times, run times, and watering days. Use the B-hyve app for the most intuitive programming experience. The app allows you to:

Set specific start times for each program.
Define the duration (run time) for each zone.
Choose watering days (e.g., specific days of the week, odd/even days, or interval watering).
Adjust seasonal adjustments (budget) to increase or decrease watering across all programs.

2. Control manual

You can manually operate individual zones or all zones directly from the controller or through the B-hyve app. To manually water from the controller, use the "MANUAL" option on the display and navigate using the directional buttons. Select the zone(s) and desired run time.

3. Smart Watering (WeatherSense)

The B-hyve system utilizes Smart WeatherSense technology to automatically adjust watering schedules based on local weather forecasts. This feature helps conserve water and ensures your landscape receives optimal hydration. The controller can initiate a "RAIN DELAY" if significant precipitation is expected, preventing unnecessary watering. You can also manually set a rain delay from the controller or the app.

Manteniment

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Orbit B-hyve controller:

Periodically inspect wiring connections for corrosion or damage.
Keep the controller's exterior clean and free of dust and debris. Use a soft, damp drap per netejar.
Ensure the enclosure door is securely closed to protect internal components from the elements.

Resolució de problemes
