1. Introducció

The ClearClick HD Video Capture Box Ultimate is designed to capture and stream video from various sources, including HDMI, RCA, VHS, VCR, DVD players, camcorders, and Hi8 devices. This device allows you to digitize your video content without requiring a computer for basic recording. It supports recording to microSD cards, USB flash drives, or USB hard drives.

Important Note: This device does not monitor, record, or live stream from HDMI sources that are content-protected or copyrighted (e.g., some Blu-ray players, streaming media sticks). Attempting to use such sources will result in a black screen. This is not an indication of a defective device.

2. Informació de seguretat

4. Dispositiu acabatview

4.1 Panell frontal i controls

• Pantalla LCD: Pantalla de 3.5 polzades per a pre-instal·lacióviewing video and navigating menus.
• Botó enrere: Torna al menú o pantalla anterior.
• Botó de menú: Accedeix al menú de configuració del dispositiu.
• Botons direccionals (amunt, avall, esquerra, dreta): Navegueu pels menús i ajusteu la configuració.
• Botó D'acord: Confirma les seleccions.
• Botó d'encesa: Encén/apaga el dispositiu.
• Botons de pujar / baixar de volum: Ajusta el volum de reproducció.
• Entrada de micròfon: Per connectar un micròfon extern.
• Rec/Stop Button: Initiates or stops video recording.
• Botó de mode: Switches between different operating modes (e.g., Record, Playback).

4.2 Ports laterals i posteriors

5. Configuració

5.1 Alimentació del dispositiu

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the device.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the USB Power Adapter.
3. Plug the USB Power Adapter into a wall outlet.
4. Press and hold the Power button on the device to turn it on. The device has a built-in rechargeable battery (3.7V / 1800mAh) for portable use, but it is recommended to keep it plugged in for extended operation.

5.2 Inserting Storage

The device supports microSD cards (up to 128 GB), USB flash drives (up to 128 GB), and USB hard drives (up to 4 TB).

• For microSD Card: Insert the microSD card into the SD Card slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly (often upside down relative to the device's orientation).
• For USB Drive: Connect your USB flash drive or hard drive to the USB Out Port.

5.3 Connexió de fonts de vídeo

Choose the appropriate connection method for your source device:

• HDMI Source (e.g., game console, set-top box): Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI output of your source device to the HDMI In Port on the capture box.
• RCA/AV Source (e.g., VCR, camcorder, DVD player): Connect the RCA (yellow, white, red) cables from the AV output of your source device to the AV In ports on the capture box. Ensure the colors match (yellow for video, white for left audio, red for right audio).

5.4 Connecting to a Display (Optional)

A view your video source on a larger screen while recording, connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI Out Port on the capture box to an HDMI input on your TV or monitor.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Enregistrament bàsic

1. Ensure the device is powered on and your video source is connected and playing.
2. The video feed should appear on the device's LCD screen.
3. Premeu el botó Rec/Stop button (or the record button on the remote control) to begin recording. A recording indicator will appear on the screen.
4. Premeu el botó Rec/Stop button again to stop recording. The recorded file will be saved to your inserted storage device.

6.2 Navegació i configuració del menú

1. Premeu el botó Menú botó per accedir a la configuració.

3. Premeu OK per seleccionar una opció o confirmar una configuració.

6.3 Resolution Settings

The device supports HD (720P/1080P for HDMI) and SD (720x480 for RCA) video capture. You can select the desired resolution through the menu settings. Note that the 'video quality' button on the remote typically opens a menu to choose between HD or SD resolution, not a quality bitrate setting.

6.4 Live Streaming (PC Required)

Live streaming is supported via PC using OBS software. This feature is compatible with Windows operating systems only; Mac and XSplit are not supported.

1. Connect the device to your PC using the USB-C cable.
2. Ensure your video source is connected to the capture box.
3. On your PC, open OBS Studio.
4. Add a 'Video Capture Device' source in OBS and select the ClearClick device.
5. Configure your streaming settings within OBS.

6.5 Reproducció

To play back recorded videos:

1. Premeu el botó Mode botó per canviar al mode de reproducció.

6.6 Entrada de micròfon

Connect a wired microphone to the Microphone Input jack to record external audio alongside your video. Bluetooth microphones are not supported.

7. Manteniment

• Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Cura de la bateria: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50%.

8. Solució De Problemes

• Black Screen from HDMI Source: If you see a black screen when connecting an HDMI source, verify that the source is not content-protected (HDCP enabled). The device cannot record or display content-protected HDMI signals.
• No Signal from RCA/AV Source: Ensure your VCR/camcorder/video source is functional and correctly connected. Test the source by connecting it directly to a TV.
• Audio/Video Sync Issues: While recorded files are generally good, some users have reported minor sync issues during live preview, especially at higher resolutions. This typically does not affect the final recorded file.
• SD Card Difficult to Insert/Remove: The SD card slot can be tight. Ensure the card is oriented correctly and apply gentle, firm pressure. For removal, a tool like small pliers might be needed if it's stuck.
• El comandament a distància no respon: Ensure fresh AAA batteries are installed correctly. Sometimes, pressing buttons twice may be necessary.
• Blurry Livestreaming (PowerPoint): When livestreaming content like PowerPoint presentations, some blurriness may occur. Recorded files generally maintain better quality.
• No True Passthrough: The device requires power and must be turned on to pass through a signal to an external display, even if not recording.
