Please read all instructions carefully before using the Mophorn Water Distiller. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Always ensure the distiller is placed on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
• Do not immerse the main unit (heating chamber and fan top) in water or other liquids.
• Keep the distiller away from children and pets.
• Do not operate the distiller if the power cord or plug is damaged.
• Unplug the distiller from the power outlet before cleaning or when not in use.
• Allow the unit to cool completely before handling or cleaning. The heating chamber and distilled water will be hot.
• Ensure proper ventilation around the distiller during operation. Do not block the air vents.

3. Configuració

Follow these steps to set up your Mophorn Water Distiller before first use:

1. Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge. Conserveu l'embalatge per a futurs emmagatzematges o transports.
2. Neteja: Wash the water collection bottle, dust cap, and the interior of the distiller's heating chamber with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Assemble Collection Bottle: Attach the handle to the glass collection bottle using the provided metal bands and screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Instal·leu el filtre de carboni: Open the nozzle on the distiller's outlet. Insert one activated carbon package into the filter compartment. Close the nozzle securely.
5. Col·locació: Place the distiller on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure the power cord can reach a grounded outlet without strain.
6. First Run (Cleaning Cycle): Before distilling water for consumption, perform a cleaning cycle. Fill the heating chamber with water up to the MAX fill line. Place the collection bottle under the outlet. Run the distiller for one full cycle. Discard this first batch of distilled water. This helps to remove any manufacturing residues.

4. Funcionament

Operating your Mophorn Water Distiller is straightforward:

1. Omplir aigua: Remove the fan top from the heating chamber. Fill the stainless steel heating chamber with tap water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
2. Replace Top: Place the fan top back onto the heating chamber, ensuring it is seated correctly.
3. Position Collection Bottle: Place the water collection bottle directly under the distiller's outlet nozzle.

5. Inici de la destil·lació: Press the 'ON/OFF' button to start the distillation process. The heating element will begin to heat the water, and the fan will activate.
6. Temperature Adjustment (Optional): Use the 'Temp Adjuster' buttons (up/down arrows) to set your desired distillation temperature. The distiller will automatically shut off when this temperature is reached. The default setting is usually sufficient for most users.
7. Supervisar el progrés: The distiller will operate until the water in the heating chamber has evaporated or the set temperature is reached. Distilled water will drip into the collection bottle.
8. Tancament automàtic: The distiller will automatically shut off when the water level is too low or the set temperature is reached, preventing dry burning.
9. Refredament: After the cycle is complete, unplug the unit and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before handling or refilling.
10. Collect Water: Once cooled, carefully remove the collection bottle with the freshly distilled water.

5. Manteniment

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your distiller.

5.1 Neteja diària

• After each use, once the unit has cooled, discard any remaining water from the heating chamber.
• Wipe the interior of the heating chamber with a soft cloth to remove any loose residue.
• Rinse the collection bottle.

5.2 Descaling (Weekly/Bi-weekly, depending on water hardness)

Mineral deposits (limescale) will accumulate in the heating chamber. Use the provided cleaning powder (citric acid) to descale the unit:

1. Ensure the distiller is unplugged and cooled.
2. Pour approximately 1 liter (0.26 gallons) of warm water into the heating chamber.
3. Add 1-2 tablespoons of the cleaning powder (citric acid) to the water.
4. Stir to dissolve the powder.
5. Place the fan top back on the unit. Do NOT place the collection bottle under the outlet.
6. Plug in the distiller and press the 'ON/OFF' button to start a cycle. Let it run for 15-30 minutes, or until the deposits loosen.
7. Press 'ON/OFF' to stop, then unplug the unit and allow it to cool.
8. Carefully pour out the cleaning solution. Use a soft brush or cloth to scrub away any remaining deposits.
9. Rinse the heating chamber thoroughly several times with clean water to remove all traces of the cleaning solution.
10. Perform a full distillation cycle with clean water and discard the distilled water before resuming normal use.

5.3 Substitució del filtre de carboni

Replace the activated carbon filter every 2-3 months, or as needed, to maintain water purity and taste.

• Ensure the distiller is unplugged and cooled.
