5.1. Unlocking the Drive
- Connect the drive to your computer using the appropriate USB cable.
- Enter your Administrator or User PIN on the integrated keypad.
- Press the Unlock button (often indicated by an open padlock or green checkmark).
The drive will unlock and become accessible on your computer. The LED indicators on the drive will confirm its unlocked status.
5.2. Read-Only Modes
The Aegis Fortress L3 offers two read-only modes to protect data from modification or malware. These modes are ideal for accessing data in public settings or for applications requiring data to remain in its original, unaltered state.
