4. Instal·lació

4.1 Consideracions prèvies a la instal·lació

• Ubicació: Choose a location with a stable, level surface capable of supporting the unit's weight when fully loaded. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
• Ventilació: Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit. For built-in installations, the front ventilation grille must not be obstructed.
• Font d'alimentació: Connect the unit to a dedicated, grounded 115 Volt, 60 Hz AC outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

4.2 Built-In vs. Free-Standing Installation

This unit is designed for both built-in and free-standing installations. For built-in installations, ensure the following clearances:

• Allow a minimum of 1" to 2" of clearance at the back for proper ventilation and service access.
• The unit must be installed in an area protected from the elements (wind, rain, etc.).
• Ensure the unit can be pulled forward for servicing if necessary.

4.3 Inversió de porta

The unit is shipped with the door hinged on the right side. If your installation requires the door to open from the left, the door is reversible. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full owner's manual for the step-by-step process of reversing the door swing.

5. Funcionament

5.1 Inici inicial

After installation, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Once plugged in, the unit will begin cooling to the factory preset temperature.

5.2 Control de temperatura

The temperature is controlled via the soft-touch electronic thermostat located at the top of the interior. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to adjust the desired temperature between 38°F and 65°F (3°C and 18°C). The digital display will show the set temperature.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

• Exterior: Clean the exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Interior: Clean the interior with a solution of baking soda and water (2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 quart of water). Rinse thoroughly and dry.

6.2 Descongelació automàtica
