4. Configuració i preparació

4.1 Desembalatge

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Starting the Hedge Trimmer

The IKRA IHT 550 features a two-hand safety switch. To start the hedge trimmer:

1. Grip the front handle firmly with one hand and the rear handle with the other.
2. Simultaneously press both the switch on the front handle and the switch on the rear handle. The blades will begin to move.
3. Release either switch to stop the hedge trimmer. The electric quick stop feature will rapidly halt the blades.

5.2 Hedge Trimming Techniques

For best results and safety, follow these guidelines:

• Work in a steady, controlled motion. Avoid rushing.
• Trim hedges from bottom to top for vertical surfaces, and from the outside in for horizontal surfaces.
• Do not attempt to cut branches thicker than the specified cutting thickness (16mm).
• Be aware of the power cord's position at all times to prevent accidental cutting.

6. Manteniment i emmagatzematge

6.1 Neteja

Always disconnect the hedge trimmer from the power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

• Clean the blades immediately after each use to prevent sap and debris buildup. Use a stiff brush and a suitable blade cleaning spray or light oil.
