1. Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your STRONG SRT 8209 DVB-T2 HD Digital Terrestrial Receiver. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to maximize your viewexperiència.
The SRT 8209 is a compact and efficient HD Digital Terrestrial Receiver, designed for easy installation and user-friendly operation. It supports HEVC/H.265 and Dolby Digital Plus standards, enabling reception of free-to-air channels with excellent sound and picture quality up to 1080p resolution. Key features include USB recording, timeshift, media playback, and an Electronic Program Guide (EPG).

3. Instruccions de seguretat
For safe and optimal operation, please observe the following:
- Ensure the power supply matches the specifications (220 - 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz).
- No exposar el receptor a la pluja o la humitat.

4. Configuració
4.1 Connexió del receptor
Follow these steps to connect your SRT 8209 receiver to your television and antenna:
- Connexió d'antena: Connect your terrestrial antenna cable to the RF IN port on the rear panel of the receiver.
- TV Connection (HDMI): For high-definition video and audio, connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI port on the receiver to an HDMI input on your television.
- TV Connection (SCART/Péritel): If your TV does not have an HDMI port, use a SCART cable to connect the TV SCART port on the receiver to the SCART input on your television.
- Connexió del sistema d'àudio (opcional): For enhanced audio, connect an audio amplifier or soundbar to the Digital Audio S/PDIF (Coaxial) sortida.

4.2 Engegada inicial i escaneig de canals
Upon first power-on, the receiver will guide you through the initial setup process:
- Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI or SCART input.
- The receiver will display a setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and country.
- The receiver will automatically begin scanning for available DVB-T2 channels. This process may take several minutes.
- Once the scan is complete, the receiver will save the channels and display the first available channel.
The SRT 8209 has a memory capacity for up to 400 channels.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Funcions de control remot
The remote control allows full operation of your receiver. Insert the two AAA batteries provided into the remote control, observing polarity.

- MENÚ: Accesses the main menu for settings and features.
- D'ACORD: Confirms selections or displays the channel list.

- VOL +/-: Ajusta el volum.
- EPG: Obre la Guia electrònica de programes.
- REC: Starts immediate recording (requires USB storage).
- CANVI D'HORA: Activates the timeshift function (requires USB storage).
- USB: Accesses media playback from a connected USB device.
5.2 Guia electrònica de programes (EPG)
Premeu el botó EPG button on your remote control to view the Electronic Program Guide. The EPG provides information on current and upcoming programs for up to 7 days. You can also schedule recordings directly from the EPG.
5.3 USB Recording and Timeshift
The SRT 8209 supports recording and timeshift functions via its USB 2.0 port. Connect a USB storage device (e.g., USB flash drive or external hard drive) to the USB port on the front panel.
- Gravació: Premeu el botó REC button to start recording the current program. You can also schedule recordings using the EPG or the timer function (up to 30 timer events with 'once', 'daily', 'weekly' modes).
- Canvi d'hora: Premeu el botó CANVI D'HORA button to pause live television. You can then resume playback, fast forward, or rewind.
- Reproducció multimèdia: The USB port also allows you to play back various media files (images, videos, music) stored on your USB device.
- Actualització de programari: The USB port can be used to update the receiver's software.
Nota: The USB port is inactive in standby mode to conserve energy.

5.4 Network Features (Ethernet)
Connect the receiver to your home network via the Ethernet port to access additional features such as RSS feeds and weather forecasts.

6. Manteniment
6.1 Neteja
To clean the receiver, unplug it from the power outlet. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
6.2 Actualitzacions de programari
Reviseu periòdicament el fabricant website for available software updates. Updates can be installed via the USB port as described in section 5.3.
