1. Guitar Overview & Inspection
Before playing, familiarize yourself with the guitar's main parts. The DST-100T features a poplar solid body, Canadian maple neck with a comfortable 'C' shaped profile, and a purpleheart wood fingerboard with 22 copper-nickel frets.

2. Afinar la guitarra
Use the included digital tuner to accurately tune your guitar. Attach the tuner to the headstock. Pluck each string individually and adjust the tuning pegs until the tuner indicates the correct pitch (E-A-D-G-B-E from thickest to thinnest string).

1. Pickup Selection
The DST-100T features an H-S-S (Humbucker-Single-Single) pickup configuration. Use the 5-way pickup selector switch to choose different tonal variations:
- Position 1 (Bridge Humbucker): Full, rich tone, ideal for rock and heavier styles.
- Position 2 (Bridge Humbucker + Middle Single-Coil): Blended tone with added clarity.
- Position 3 (Middle Single-Coil): Balanced, clear tone.
- Position 4 (Middle Single-Coil + Neck Single-Coil): Warm, articulate tone.
- Position 5 (Neck Single-Coil): Smooth, warm tone, great for blues and jazz.

2. Volume and Tone Controls
The guitar has one volume knob and two tone knobs. The volume knob controls the overall output level. The tone knobs allow you to shape the treble frequencies, providing a brighter or warmer sound.

3. Whammy Bar Usage
The included whammy bar (tremolo arm) can be inserted into the bridge system. It allows you to temporarily change the pitch of the strings, creating vibrato effects. Use it gently to avoid putting excessive stress on the strings or bridge.
Manteniment
1. Substitució de cordes
Over time, guitar strings will wear out and lose their tone. Replace strings regularly, especially if you play frequently. Your kit includes an extra set of strings. When replacing, change one string at a time to maintain neck tension.
2. Neteja
Wipe down your guitar after each use with a soft, dry cloth to remove sweat and grime. Periodically clean the fretboard with a specialized fretboard cleaner and condition it to prevent drying and cracking.
3. Emmagatzematge
Store your guitar in the included gig bag when not in use to protect it from dust, scratches, and environmental changes. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity, which can damage the wood.
