1. Configuració
1.1 Instal·lació de la bateria
The Sharp EL-W531TL calculator operates on one LR44 battery, which is included. To install or replace the battery:

- Use a small screwdriver to remove the screw securing the cover.
- Carefully remove the cover and insert the LR44 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

1.2 Encès inicial
Premeu el botó ON/C key to turn on the calculator. The display will show the default mode (e.g., DEG for degrees).

2. Instruccions de funcionament
2.1 Operacions aritmètiques bàsiques
Perform basic calculations using the number keys and operation keys (+, -, ×, ÷). Premeu = per mostrar el resultat.
- Addició: 5 + 3 = (Result: 8)
- Resta: 10 - 4 = (Result: 6)
- Multiplicació: 7 × 2 = (Result: 14)
- Divisió: 15 ÷ 3 = (Result: 5)
2.2 Funcions científiques
The EL-W531TL offers over 420 scientific functions. Many functions are accessed by pressing the 2n F key followed by the desired function key.
- Funcions trigonomètriques: Ús pecat, cos, bronzejat keys. For inverse functions, press 2n F then the respective key (e.g., 2n F pecat for sin-1).
- Logaritmes: Ús registre (base 10) i ln (natural logarithm) keys.
- Potències i arrels: Ús x² per al quadrat, √ for square root. For other powers, use yx.
- Fraccions: Utilitza el ab/c key to enter and calculate fractions.
2.3 Funcions de memòria
The calculator includes independent memory (M) and variable memories (A-F, X, Y).
- Emmagatzemar a la memòria: Enter a value, then press STO followed by the desired memory key (e.g., STO M+ to store to M).
- Recordar de la memòria: Premeu RCL followed by the desired memory key.
- Esborra la memòria: Premeu M-CLR to clear all memories.
2.4 Selecció del mode
Premeu el botó MODE key to cycle through different calculation modes (e.g., Normal, Stat, Drill). Press CA to change angle units (DEG, RAD, GRAD).

3. Manteniment
3.1 Neteja
To clean the calculator, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the calculator, as this may damage the display or keys.
