Instal·lació de controladors i programari
Before using your Scarlett Solo, it is recommended to visit the official Focusrite weblloc (focusrite.com) to download and install the latest drivers and register your product. Registration grants access to the included software bundle, which typically includes a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and various plugins.
Connecting the CM25 MkIII Microphone
Attach the CM25 MkIII condenser microphone to the included stand mount. Use the 3-meter XLR cable to connect the microphone to the XLR input (Input 1) on the front of the Scarlett Solo interface. For the condenser microphone to function, you must activate 48V phantom power by pressing the '48V' button next to the gain knob for Input 1. The LED will illuminate when phantom power is active.

Connecting the HP60 MkIII Headphones
Plug the HP60 MkIII headphones into the headphone jack on the front of the Scarlett Solo interface. The headphone volume is controlled by the large 'MONITOR' knob, which also controls the main line outputs.

Operating Your Scarlett Solo Studio
Ajust de guany d'entrada
Use the 'GAIN' knobs for Input 1 (microphone) and Input 2 (instrument) to set appropriate recording levels. The surrounding 'Gain Halo' LEDs will indicate your input level: green for a good signal, amber for approaching clipping, and red for clipping. Adjust the gain so the LED stays green, occasionally flashing amber on the loudest peaks.
For vocal and acoustic instrument recording, the 'AIR' mode (available on Input 1) can be activated to add a brighter, more open quality to your sound, emulating Focusrite's classic ISA preamps.
Seguiment directe
The 'DIRECT MONITOR' button allows you to hear your input signal directly through the headphones with zero latency. This is crucial for recording, as it eliminates any delay between playing/singing and hearing yourself, which can be distracting. When direct monitoring is active, the input signal is routed directly to the headphone and line outputs, bypassing your computer's processing.
Recording with Your DAW
Once drivers are installed and the interface is connected, select the Scarlett Solo as your audio input and output device within your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software (e.g., Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase). Create new audio tracks, arm them for recording, and set your input source to the corresponding Scarlett Solo input. Adjust levels using the gain knobs on the interface and the faders within your DAW.
